TROPICAL TASTE — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I moved to Indy from the east coast, I have been on a search for a great place to satisfy my desire, for Haitian food. I’m this process I discovered EZTaste! I’m writing this review after a solid 2 weeks of coming back every other day to try different entrees. Every single one of them were memorable. I have tried other Haitian restaurants this is by far THE best in value and taste. Great portions and well seasoned not that the others weren’t but here at EZ Taste it reminded me of HOME (Haiti) everything I ordered was made with care which was evident in the taste. I personally wish I had more space and words to describe every dish I got from here. The staff is lovely they treated me like family since day one! One particular weekend on a Saturday I came by a bit too late for the special soup (bouillon) due to me coming by also every day at this point the ladies gave me their plate they were saving to spilt amongst themselves. It was Fire!! If you are still reading this review; thanks and as a suggestion if you don’t know what to get I loved the Griot and the legumes. Name drop me lol I’d love to know...

July 2, 2025 today I ordered food from this place through uber eats & MY GOD the food was horrible. First off I ordered beef they told my courier they had goat i said ok , anyways as soon as the food arrived & I opened up the goat meat made with okra & sauce it smelled sooooo baddd it was more than 100% spoiled. I even tried to eat it & the taste was horrendous so basically I paid full price for half food. These people will make your nose turn & make you sick buyers beware !!...

I can’t rate the food, it smelled good and the place was cozy but we were obviously not welcome. We were the only customers but the server did not give us menus, cleared the table we chose and walked away to put her head down at the bar.
