We stopped tonight to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. Our traditional anniversary supper is always pasta since that’s what we had for our honeymoon supper. We ordered an appetizer of the fried ravioli which was spot on and delicious. There were more than it shows in the photo, we’d already put several on our plates. Then we ordered the baked linguine with Italian sausage and the pasta was cooked just right, it wasn’t mushy which so many places have happen. For drinks, I had the Caribbean mule and the Mr had a Guinness. We also had a shot to celebrate at 5:43, our official toast time of our wedding. We had a great evening, enjoyed good food and I am glad we picked someplace local so we were that much closer to home when we were done. Our server was great, he did an excellent job about asking if we needed anything off and on.

Their pizza is about the same price as Casey's but Casey's is honestly better. A mom and pop place should strive to be better than a gas station. You can also tell nothing is homemade despite the claims on the menu/website. The meatballs, mozzarella sticks, and fried ravioli are all clearly pre made. $36 for a large pizza and 2 appetizers from the frozen foods section. Wouldn't recommend.

The food is always on point. The service was awesome. Kenadi handled our large group with skill and charm. This is the third year in a row we have all dined here and it just gets better. Had a Stromboli with hamburger, sauerkraut, and banana peppers. So good!

This is one of the worst pizza places I've been to in a while. It takes some true talent to make a pizza taste so bland. It honestly tasted like one of those bargain bin Frozen Pizzas that Paul Revere's sells in bulk for fundrais. Just a flat pizza with paper thin dough. The cheese was good, but the sauce was practically nonexistant. I even tried to add some parmesean to increase the taste, but it just made it too sweet. Pizza was cooked at the perfect amount, but can't do much with subpar ingredients. While the food might be bad the drinks were even worse. Whether it be the water quality or the lack of carbonation, avoid anything you can sip at this location at all costs. Service wise I had a nice waitress, but she seemed overworked and constantly in a hurry even though it clearly wasn't rush hour. Hope she goes somewhere with that bubbly personality that is always great to see in customer service. Atmosphere was overall fine for a bar, but the worst thing is if you can see some of the grime and dirtiness and you unfortunately could in this place. Overall would not recomend to anybody actually wanting to eat and drink here. Even if you are the broke Simpson College student that this bar is clearly trying...

To go order

Ordered the smoked wings with the Jamaican jerk sauce and an order of breadsticks. Got the food home, and the wings had no sauce on them. They were definitely the smoked ones, but after trying one, there was no sauce whatsoever. We called the Brickhouse right away and we’re told to bad, so sad. Really? We would have come back to get sauce, but it was closing. So, we took the wings back the next day and nothing! Only to be told that the dry wings were sauced (all the other times, you can see the sauce and there is sauce in the bottom of the styrofoam container… there was none, dry container too!). So, $13 for uneaten wings in the trash. We have been doing takeout for years from here, but after this, we are done. I’d rather support local, but not when we are...
