West Hill Brewing Company — Restaurant in Indianola

Traveling through Iowa going back east and looking for breweries resulted in many choices, but most looked like they were in generic strip malls. This was a little out of the way but well worth the extra drive. It was such a relaxing spot on a warm spring evening. Place was absolutely slammed because of some Halloween event. They let you bring your own food, so we brought a pizza we got takeout from Winn's. Tried a pilsner and the caramel apple beer. Both were good and prices were fair. The place is nice and has a great selection for a small town. The folks behind the bar were friendly and let my wife sample one before purchase. Ordered a beer, as I finished I realized the glass was cracked (broken). Took it up got "sorry" from the tender. Ordered another beer, halfway through realized this glass was broken also. Took it up and got another "sorry" not even a "let me get a fresh beer". I did get a free beer token for two broken glasses and one only half drank.
