Charlotte’s Kitchen consistently delivers incredible food. Their chicken sandwiches, fresh salads, loaded tots, crispy fries, and that famous Char sauce are absolutely amazing. The flavors are worth every penny—even though the prices are a bit high.
However, there’s one recurring issue that’s hard to ignore: missing sauces. We’ve visited Charlotte’s more than 10 times in the past few months, and almost every time, we’ve paid for extra sauces that weren’t put in our bag. It’s frustrating because it feels avoidable—the receipt clearly shows what should go in the bag, so why is this happening so often?
We’ve started checking our bag in the parking lot before leaving, and more often than not, we’ve had to go back inside to get the sauces we paid for. It’s frustrating because it feels like such a simple thing to get right, yet it keeps happening. When customers are paying extra, attention to detail should be a priority.
We’ll continue to support Charlotte’s because the food is some of the best in town, but we hope this is something they can work on. A small change, like ensuring every order is triple-checked, could go a long way in making sure customers leave completely satisfied.
On a smaller note, the soda machine could use a little more syrup and carbonation to bring it up to par with their stellar food.
We truly want to see Charlotte’s succeed and will keep coming back. Fixing these small but frustrating issues would make the experience just as amazing...
Read moreThe customer service at this location is absolutely terrible and does not seem to value retaining a loyal customer base.
As regulars who love the food, we have unfortunately had repeated issues with the quality of our orders. Initially, the manager, Shawn/Shaun (unsure of the spelling), was kind enough to redo our orders when problems arose. However, over time, the compensation for these recurring issues has diminished, showing a clear lack of concern for customer satisfaction.
Most recently, we ordered over $50 worth of food, only to receive undercooked fries—so raw you could taste and feel the crunch of uncooked potato—and chicken that was rubbery and off-putting. As we live an hour away and have tight schedules, we called within the week to address the issue. Instead of offering a refund or a redo of the order (as most reputable establishments would), we were offered a mere 10% discount on our next order.
This is unacceptable. We expect quality food and proper resolution when issues arise, especially from a place we've supported regularly. Sadly, this experience has made it clear that this establishment does not value its customers.
My family and I will no longer be...
Read moreWe decided to try Charlotte's Saturday 8 April. My sweetheart ordered the fried chickens breast sandwich and fries. I ordered a grilled orange chicken sandwich and brussels sprouts. Our food arrived in 8 minutes. Not too shabby.
The chicken breast sandwich appeared to be an actual chicken breast. The Orange Chicken sandwich is a processed chicken patty with a little slimy spicy sauce, cabbage and carrots on it. The Brussels Sprouts may be among the most vile entree' I ever paid for. Burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. The grilled orange chicken sandwich is close second. NASTY!
I scraped off my chicken patty to finish it. The awful sprouts went in the garbage. An employee came by to ask how everything was tasting and found out we didn't appreciate their fare. He toddled off with no other comment.
It cost $27.00 to learn we should have gone to Arby's. You get to make up your own mind about Charlotte's Kitchen. We won't...
