Camden Cellars Wine Bar — Restaurant in Indio

Been here twice and both times were such a disappointment. Won't be coming back, that's for sure.

The wait staff is not great. They took so long to attend to us, often felt like they forgot about us. On our first visit, we just came in for the wine and had some appetizers. The appetizers were good, but the waiter literaly forgot about us. We never received any attention of a wait staff visit after drinks and food was delivered to our table. We finally had to flag down another waitress for help. She went looking for our waiter and apparently he was behing the bar bartending. So she ended up assisting us with the check. Not a great experience, especially when we wanted a second glass of wine.

Figured, give them a second chance and what a disappointment once again. Restaurant was pretty much empty and wine order took a long time. We ordered a salad and the burger. The burger and bread were burned so badly that it looked and tasted like charcoal. They made another and it was no different. Plus the veggies were all soggy, maybe from freezing. None of it looked appealing to eat as it looked so gross that I lost my appetiite and rejected it.

Owner or manager came over and appeared to be offended because he said we didn't like the burger and it's one of the best burgers in town (so he claims but not so). He didn't even see the sad looking road kill that was served on my plate but he sure had great things to say about their burgers.

Sad to say, there was no effort to made to make things right or offer any type of resolution. All we got in return was an additude of surprise and oh well, that's to bad you didn't like our burger. Such a horrible way of handling this type of citutation. Clearly they just didn't care.

I’m not much of a google reviewer but I had to acknowledge this establishment.

I’ve had the pleasure of dog sitting for my parents the past 7 days while they’re on vacation. I wanted a bite to eat and take quick break from the home. I googled restaurants and located this establishment. That salmon and broccoli entree is to die for ! It was so good I came back the next day for the same exact entree paired with presecco - this past sat and sun .

While the food brought me back - I wanted to say you had the most welcoming staff ! Everyone was extremely kindly and attentive on both days (2 different crews!). very impressed with your eatery and hope you expand to Vegas in...

First visit to Camden Sellers, but will not be my last. Four of us attended the happy hour from 2 to 5. The name of the restaurant suggested it’s a wine bar, but that is very misleading. The food was fantastic, reasonably priced and beautifully presented. Our waitress only added to the wonderful experience, pleasant, helpful, cheerful, and informative. A real professional, oh yeah, and the waitresses wine suggestions were perfect. My only suggestion would be a name change so people would know that this is not only a great wine bar but a lovely restaurant also. A five I’d star experience...
