@Alan M ... I was there that day and unfortunately you see what you like to see. The bar that you were talking about being so messy was leftover from a customer who had just left right before. The TV issue literally could have been resolved had you just asked them to change the channel, ask and you shall receive. And the employee that you were talking about being on their phone was a manager that was on break, who when the cashier had issues, stopped her lunch to go and help her. Oh and the cashier was brand new it was her second day at work. Also not sure if you understand how fast food places work, but when you are making an order and it has some special requests or anything of the sort but someone else who ordered after you had a small order, it might just be taking a little bit longer to make your food. They aren't going to just let the persons food that was behind you get cold because they are going to wait to give you yours first. Anyways it seems to me that you got impatient with the new cashier and the fact that someone else got their order before yours so you decided to nitpick at everything you possibly could find. If you are looking for perfection I recommend going home and cooking for yourself since they couldn't cook it "fast enough". Things might not always be how you see them exactly so maybe make sure it is accurate before accusing and judging. You said it was your first and last time eating there and frankly I think that is more of a blessing for the people who work at Burgerim because they don't need to put up with the impatience and disrespect. And by the way thank you to the employees at Burgerim, my food was excellent, the customer service is beyond amazing and you guys are...
Read moreBeen saying this for years but nobody ever seems to listen. Very simple concept.
Nothing ruins a meal I'm paying for than bad service.
Not the biggest deal but I asked for ranch and he totally forgot to give it to me. When I asked, he tried to blame the cook. If he would have checked on me after leaving me the food like any regular server usually does, I could have been satisfied with him bringing it late but he finally waltzes out with cell phone in hand to go to the bathroom when I'm practically finished. I reminders him and he asks if I still want it. I told him I'm almost done. He offers a free drink. Why would I want a drink when I already have one?
This might sound harsh but the reason this poor service bothers me so much is because of this simple concept I mentioned at the beginning which is pre tipping. Why in the world these places do this is crazy to me. I've gotten to the point that if I see them ask for a tip as I'm ordering, I don't want to eat there anymore. Period. Not once have I ever been to a place in my entire life to date where I was asked to tip up front and I was satisfied with the service that I paid up front for on the assumption that it would be good. This kid couldn't careless and first tried to blame the cook FOR HIS JOB and then he was willing to sacrifice product with an offer I'm pretty sure his boss doesn't give him the ability to give.
I'm convinced now that any place that asks you to pre tip is going to have garbage customer service. Again, not a big deal that he forgot the ranch. The big deal is that he forgot AFTER I paid him to give me service. So, from now on, as soon as I see pretip,I will turn around...
Read moreTerrible. I have been eating at Monsoon Indian Cuisine, in Plam Springs, for many, many years. Ever since they opened. I have never been disappointed. The Indio location, however, which I patronized today, the music was terribly loud; so uncomfortable. The decor abismal; same as the previous failed burger resturant. Exact same slogans on the walls. No decor, no paintings or decorations. The feel did not seem Indian at all. My father ordered the Lentil Soup as a starter/appetizer/1st course. The Lentil Soup arrived, as the very last, after all the Entree Meals had already been served and eaten. Hence, my father did not even try the Lentil Soup. He was full by then. The Onion Kulcha was suppose to be part of our entrees, served whole in a basket. Instead it arrived "Appetizer Size" in tiny, bite sized, Very Greasy pieces, no flavour. It was TERRIBLE. It was inedible. We did not eat it and left it. We were EXTREMELY disappointed in the food.. Especially for the prices they charge! I doubt we will ever go again. Well over $50.00, for two, for lunch...rediculous and definately NOT worth it. Our "Take Out Real Onion Kulcha" bread was wrapped in the prevoius failed resturant's "Burger im" tin foil and packaging. What a...
