This isn't a review for the chicken, it is a review for the staff at this location. Okay so we ordered a 10 dollar bigger box to share...it is on the commerical and it includes...2 biscuits, 2 sides, 2 apple pies and either 4pieces of chicken or 6 chicken strips. We elected for the strips and the location was packed because it is one opened until 3am. After waiting 20 minutes at least, we arrive to get our meal and I always check the order but my hubby gets annoyed so I decided to leave the window and checked at the end of the drive to find the order shorted of 2 strips. Now, my issue here is the employee included everything else that the deal included but shorted that so I think she was fully aware of what she was doing. Well the line had 7 cars in already so I wasn't going to get back in line. I parked up and knocked on and an employee told me to walk around. Well my husband had a go at me but I always get what I pay for. So I explained to the person there and she said I could speak to them while she was sat there. The employee had the nerve to tell me that I was mistaken and next time I needed to get my order straight. Rightttt. I, in turn, told her what her roll was and that she works there and should be aware of promotions and that the rest of my order was due. She conferred with a very ignorant manager, that didn't have a clue about what their place of employment had to offer. Needless to say I was provided my items and I thanked her and walked away. Now, I remained courteous even though she was not and thanked her even though she was unprofessional and insipid. Placed my order through the mobile app. Gave it about 10 minutes before I messaged that I was close. Had to wait in line with other guests that were ordering in-store for about 10 minutes. Once I reached the pick-up line, they said it wasn't ready yet. I waited another 10 minutes and came back to check on my order. They informed me "they couldn't find it and to wait to the side. After about 5 minutes I asked again and I got the same response. I'm watching people order in store and get their food before me. I ask again and I get the same response that they couldn't find it. I told them that I'm not moving from the counter until I know my order is being made. Thank God for one employee, Leonardo, who came and copied my email confirmation to a ticket and told me to come back in 5 minutes. I leave the store, make a phone call, come back, and flag Leonardo down who has my order ready. This was my first time visiting Popeye's in my life and I'll never go to this location again. There were no social distancing enforcement and they were allowing so many people into the store. It wasn't efficient or safe at all.
