Winchell's — Restaurant in Inglewood

I had to read some of these reviews, as I experienced poor customer service from the three Latino women behind the counter. My wife ordered a green drink and a plain bagel with cream cheese. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese bagel, and a ham, egg and cheese bagel; with a large coffee with creamer inside. I then ordered a half dozen of donuts. I mentioned to the woman assisting me that I would pay the difference in cost for any of the donuts or pastries should it not be in the half dozen cost. Simple and straight forward. Then, comes the misunderstanding of my order, I was asked by a second woman who was assisting the first woman what I had ordered twice. Once they got the bagel order together. The first woman proceeded to prepare my half dozen order. I had ordered two strawberry filled donuts, one cinnamon roll, one glazed twist and one glazed donut. When a third woman comes out from the back and begins to question the two other women. It appeared my donut order was completed in a box and taped. As this third lady goes to open the donut box without gloves. She began to talk down to the two other workers in front of several customers. Very unprofessional in her actions. My wife asked the third woman if she was the Supervisor or, Manager. The third woman gave my wife a dirty look and walked to the back. Then, comes out a fourth women, who is White, who I figured is the Manager or Owner of this establishment. I explained what happened and how unprofessional this third acting in front of customers talking down to her co-workers. Once, I got home I opened my half dozen box of donuts. There was only five in the box. Where I was charged for half a dozen. This Winchell's on Manchester and 5th Street is bad for business. Make sure you check your purchase...

I came to try out this winchells for the first time last night and I did not much care for my experience. The person that night had terrible customer service, they were not serving the entire bagel selection so my friend and I settled for a doughnut. The doughnut had to be one of the worse doughnuts I've had, I don't know if you'd even be able to call it a doughnut. It was completely dense, hard, and the only thing saving it was the immense amount of sugar it had. We were very disappointed in this place and really looked forward to it.
