I’m going to try and make this post as short as possible without excluding the reasoning for my review. While attending the fall festival with another family my husband and I suggested we go to the crepe factory to sit down and eat instead of trying to efficiently feed everyone in each of our families with street/food truck food. We were disappointed and embarrassed for recommending we eat there after the, less than average food we all received. The restaurant had a “special limited menu” due to the event being held that day. Side note: There were no children’s meals included on the menu. You’d expect with the limited menu that the food would be stellar. Unfortunately, that is not what we experienced. The Crepes were crunchy and crumbled like a cracker, the bacon was limp and under cooked, the burger was cold and looked as if it was a pre-formed frozen burger that didn’t even fill the roll it came on; no flavor seasoning ext… and everyone’s fries/tots were cold limp and under cooked. When we brought up the fry situation to the waitresses attention; she insisted she would bring out fresh hot ones. Only some of us got new ones. I personally said that they should be hot, golden brown and not limp. She said she would bring me new ones; which never happened. It was an over all disappointing experience that we had to pay good money for. I wish I could say that I would recommend this restaurant to more people, but now you’ve got two families who will never frequent this establishment again or suggest anyone else to either. I hate giving a review like this but it was very upsetting.

In response to your explanation: No, no children’s menu was provided or relayed by the waitress; she had to excuse herself to the kitchen and find out what she could offer the kids. Then she mistakingly brought the child chicken finger instead of Corn dogs ;which she ordered. Chicken fingers weren’t even an option… changing fryer grease doesn’t keep French fries from coming out “hot and crispy” the way they are meant to be when made to order. No, you would not be correct in saying were all brought new ones. The only side that was replaced were the tots ordered by two of the guest. No one brought any French fries out to replace the ones that were on my order; after being told that they would be replaced. I had the parmesan fries with my order which came out cold, limp, and undercooked. The parmesan cheese didn’t stick to the fries because they were cold! I am now aware that I must request my bacon be cooked too. Many of the components to the menu were pre-cooked for the expectation of a busy day. I see you want to salvage something from this review but being in denial of your customers experience is not how you do it. Thank you for your...

I must clarify upfront. This is not a review of their food or beverages. My wife and her close friend, both of whom are 30+ weeks pregnant and have other children and rarely get time with just each other, decided to make the trip downtown to spend the afternoon together over a cup of coffee. They researched the The Crepe Factory and found that their posted hour of closing was 2pm. Finding a parking spot was difficult enough only to have walk a considerable distance uphill which isn't the stores fault but provides a challenge when you are 30+ weeks pregnant along with multiple musculoskeletal issues. Thus this added to the amount of time it took just to get to the store. Upon arrival to the store there are multiple signs of different significance in the store windows. One picture below is the example. (Side note: it is frustrating when businesses have multiple signs and posters on their store front which means you have to hunt for any of relevance to the store itself). Having no known reason to stand out in the heat in an effort to read all the signs they proceeded into the store. Just inside the door they were immediately barked by someone who was either one of the owners or an employee stating "we are closed". They both looked at their phones and both read 1:43 pm. We all know that how you handle people is not as much what you as it is in the WAY you say something. When two obviously very pregnant women at that point just asked if it was ok to use the restroom the worker acted like it was a big favor to let them use the restroom. They were too shocked at how they were treated to respectfully address it while standing there so I decided to give a phone call to a manager or owner and let them know what had happened. When I spoke with one of the owners and relayed our frustration she initially decided to defend the rudeness at first stating "well, it's clearly marked on the door", only to reluctantly say later in the conversation that she wouldn't want people to have this impression of...

This was the 2nd time I had been in there since it left from downtown Spartanburg and I was reminded of why I didn't like it the first time I went to it in Inman. We went to Inman for the downtown fest and decided to eat at the crepe against my better judgement, after waiting over an hour for our food and watching 2 other groups get their food before us after coming in 15-20 minutes after us was very unprofessional and it wasn't that busy when we went in, and trying to use the downtown festival as an excuse on why we got our food late when the festival hadn't started yet till after we were in there waiting for over an hour was unprofessional, The only thing that was good was the server actually knew that we were getting pissed off and had to go into the kitchen to help whomever it was cooking which shouldn't have happened. The 2 groups that came in 15-20 minutes after us should not have gotten their food before us when all that we ordered was basically breakfast food which should not have taken more than 10 minutes to cook and also after getting it, it was already cold and not hot which makes me feel like it was done on purpose. They need to FIRE the Managers and the Cook and get new managers and cook, someone that knows what they are actually doing, The MANAGERS never once came by our table to apologize for their mess and after waving them down and they looked at us they still didn't care to come by the table, even though the waitress took half off the bill it still should have not been a charge for their mess up. Needless to say we will never go back into that place until they replace the managers and the cook or if that woman walking around in there if she's the owner, then sell it to someone that will...

Visit was overall fantastic, great service and charming atmosphere. Wait staff were friendly & attentive. Never felt rushed even after going for seconds. The lattes have a decadent frothy smooth texture, and the right amount of sweetness. Could use a little more flavoring but i understand it's hard to do that without knocking off the sweetness to coffee ratio. the lavender honey was delicious. Loved that i could actually taste the lavender; it wasn't overpowered by the honey like I've seen at other places. Seasonal flavor was great as well. Menu has a great variety, whether you're in the mood for sweet or savory, breakfast or lunch they've got it covered. Presentation for all dishes were beautiful, honestly confused why some reviews say otherwise. Menu is clearly well thought out, each dish we ordered matched its description. Flavors were fantastic beyond expectations. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a professional behind this menu. I will say portions are a tad small, we still felt hungry after both our $10 crepes, & this is coming from someone who doesn't normally finish a meal at restaurants. Personally i believe the quality makes up for this size difference, so perhaps this is intentional to make high quality food more affordable? Would have loved if i could get a small side with my crepe for that price. But being hungry did give me the opportunity to try out the lunch menu! The mac & cheese was phenomenal. tasted like something i homemade for thanksgiving recently. Although description did mention panko crumbs, which were nowhere to be seen. Overall fantastic experience. Never have i loved a place so much that we both ordered a whole second meal lol. Worth the splurge

Unfortunately this restaurant did not live up to expectations. I attached a photo of the $7.70 avocado toast, due to the added tomato. It was a single slice of sourdough, with sparingly spread mushed avocado and what was to be rosemary oil drizzle. While visually it looked okay, the taste was bland. Regrettably, the bland taste held true for the meals ordered by the rest of our party. The meals, in both taste & appearance, resembled that of a complimentary breakfast: flat presentation, with not much substance. One member ordered fruit & the pineapple was dark & not edible. A separate member ordered a side of potatoes that had absolutely no taste whatsoever. All in all, I would say the meals left much to be desired. As far as service: everyone was polite. We did experience a similar issue to someone else where we only had a couple of interactions with those serving, which were: drinks, ordering, then when they brought the meal out. Given the situation with Covid, I felt the restaurant & staff provided great protection for everyone. They utilized tableware that would only be used by that customer; all staff had masks & kept distance; patrons were stationed a safe distance from each other. I'm glad I went to experience this restaurant, unfortunately I would not recommend it nor will I probably return.
