The upsetting thing is that I genuinely love Applebees. Their oriental chicken salad has been my favorite for years. So when I moved to Inverness a year and a half ago, I was stoked that one was right down the road from my house. Unfortunately, I have had nothing but terrible experiences at this location. The first time I came, my chicken in the salad was slimy. I didn’t say anything because I thought maybe it was just a bad day. I have given multiple times to see if it would be redeemed. And by multiple I’m talking about 5+ times wishin this past year and a half. The redemption has not been given. Instead I have received attitude from management, servers and hosts. Even though I have given respect to them. I am not a “Karen” considering I work in the restaurant as a server as well. I have come across plenty of rude customers so I completely would understand, had I been one of them. But I have not been. Today, I tried to give one last chance to your location. And I was in shock. Firstly, I waited a decent amount of time to be sat. (But I understand that most places are understaffed. ) so I was patient. We finally got sat and waited another decent amount. Still I kept my cool because I get it. When I saw that the people who were sat after me, get greeted by their server, I asked the hostess if I had a server, because I know that sometimes seats are accidentally overlooked. I got a somewhat aggressive “yes!” So I said okay. A little upset but still being patient. I then saw the hostess talking to the server with an attitude filled head move. And then she turned toward my table looking straight at me. At this point, I could no longer accept this service. So I said “you know what, I think I’ll find somewhere else to eat”. The hostess who was walking back near me said “the server is on her way” and I finished with saying “that’s alright. I didn’t quite like your attitude” and left. You have no need to give me any type of freebie or discount card or whatever you do for a last chance at getting my visit back. I refuse to be back to this location ever again. Really quite...
Read moreI come here frequently.I had a horrible experience yesterday with the server Alicia. My 4 year old sat at the table with out a drink for almost the entire meal she had to share her sisters! Also the kids meals were never put in when we first got there , the salads came out almost at the exact same time as the meal. The drink my boyfriend ordered was wrong even though we repeated ourselves 3 times . The hostest had to go to the bar and get the drink right!!! Also my boyfriend sat with his salad with no dressing mind you . He ate his entree before even being able to eat his salad. I tell the manager being I have 7 + years experience at Red lobster as a service professional (5th manager) what's going on. She trys her best to make it better but obviously had a talk with Alicia because when she came over to our table she gave us boxes and a attitude and told us to just have a good night bye.... I HAVENT EVEN PAID OR GOT MY CHECK YET!I SAID WOW CAN I PAY CAN I HAVE MY CHECK SHE GLARED AT ME SAID SOMETHING UNDER HER BREATH AND WALKED AWAY..... Gary over heard what was going on and he took the liberty to cash me out even though his section was on the other side of the restaurant!! HOW RUDE OF HER THOUGH. Read moreWorst experience in a restaurant yet. This is suppose to be a FAMILY place. Yet the female servers had boobs hanging out and the guys we wearing polo shirts. How is this not a double standard? First off the food was horrible. So was the respect from the workers. The aisle was small but the servers clearly did not even attempt to wait for customers to get through. They pushed their way through and almost knocked my kid into a couple who was eating. There were 4 servers that did this which made it that much worse. Two on the way in and two on the way out. The manager asked if everything was ok when we got our food I told her no that my food was dry and showed her it was pure black from over cooking.. So she brings out a bowl of BUTTER, Yes a bowl of butter like that is suppose to fix over cooked food??? instead of correcting it or making a new one she gives a bowl of butter so it wouldnt be dry. My god what kind of customer service does she have if she cant fix a BURNT order?
. I had only taken one bite which makes it that much worse. Before we even started our server was too busy interrupting our order being taken so she could flirt with the two guys across from us. The server working right across kept pulling DOWN her top to reveal more cleavage 5 times while we were there with my kids watching it. It was not at all a company shirt. Nobody but men seemed to be wearing company shirts. If you are that good of a server you don't need to sell sex to get tips. My kids were there and this was by far NOT ACCEPTABLE by any means. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Lucky for them I WILL be calling corporate and will not let this get swept under the table.
