We purchased a new house several months ago built by Vandervalk. Our agent was Chelsea Adams.

First of all let me say Chelsea was very attentive to our needs and if the review was just regarding her she likely would have gotten five stars.

We’re very happy with the home and neighborhood so far. The problem was that we stipulated before the final walk through that several issues that we and our home inspector uncovered. Most were dealt with properly. One major issue was the new refrigerator had a dent on the front of the door. They did replace either the door or the fridge itself. The problem was the replacement also had a dent in a less obvious location and we missed it during our walk through. So this leads me to believe the appliance installed are bought with the dents because of price. That’s somewhat deceitful.

The other major issue I had was with a plexiglass box located in the back yard that was full of broken glass aluminum window panes. Well they did remove the plexiglass box and aluminum frames without the glass. They broke the glass and it was strewn all over the wooded area and much of it was covered by sand on purpose to hide it. It took me several months to pick it all up. I also had to pick up a lot of other debris including building materials in the small wooded area. I took pictures of some of the buckets of glass. Every time it rains heavy I find more. Having two dogs I had no choice but to fence that area off to prevent them from getting cut! Whomever they hired to do that should be fired!
