So it looks like this lady has a reputation as the “colorful hair lady,” but she has been rude and salty to me on multiple occasions even when I’m kind and patient. I have two years of experience in retail so I’m not being hypocritical and I know how customer service should be.
One time I ordered double meat in a burrito as I usually do, but there was a new employee who was struggling to fold it. The “Colorful hair lady” got salty and told me I need to just get a bowl and a tortilla and wrap it myself, she was pretty mad at me. I responded with a light hearted joke about giving the new employee’s experience, but she was still rude and salty to me. After she kept being rude I said, “I feel like you’re fat shaming me,” as a joke to maybe make her stop being so rude. She went pretty silent after that, probably cause she didn’t wanna get in trouble or something. And then I recently had another experience. I went through the digital pick up window, she asked me my name and I gave it to her, then she asked me what my drink was and it was lemonade. She turned away and looked pretty pissed because I guess she had to walk to the drink station outside of the kitchen. When she gave me it I said, “Thank you,” and she just slammed the door and turned away. I then look in my drink and realized she decided to be salty again and fill my ENTIRE cup with ice. Like I couldn’t even stick my straw in because how much ice she put in it, and there was barely any drink in it either. So I just went inside and poured out the ice and filled it myself.
I would like to mention that in my entire time of customer service at my old job, I never was rude to a single customer, no matter how rude they were to me. This is quite ridiculous especially considering that multiple people have mentioned how rude she is. Honestly she should be fired, that behavior is unacceptable. And if she ends up reading this, I would like to say something. You really shouldn’t be rude to people just because you’re having a bad day. We’re adults, we all have very difficult situations we handle. Although, it’s absolutely unacceptable to treat people rudely regardless of what you’re going through. We all have problems, you shouldn’t let yours affect your job. Especially when you’re being paid for it, and I have to pay money to get that food. I hope you can learn some kindness ma’am. (P.S. Her customer service is the only problem I’ve had with that franchise, everyone else is...
Read moreI'm not the kind of person who leaves bad reviews but I've pretty consistently had not so good experiences here. I normally operate on a 3 strike philosophy. The first strike was I noticed pretty blatantly that if you ask for extra ("Double") portions of meat who ever is scooping does much smaller scoops than what's normal even though I'm getting charged for full scoops, Which seems to just be the culture that is taught to the employees( I don't even need to explain why this is bad).Second strike was I took my mom there for breakfast one day and she got a bowl and asked for double steak, the girl making it scooped the first bit of steak (again smaller than what's normal ) then did the second scoop with a normal amount. She then REACHES into the bowl (with the same gloves that she's been handling the scoops with) and pulls out 3 pieces of steak. Are you actually serious? Is the 3 pieces of steak really worth that much? She then put this steak back with the rest of the steak which is not sanitary (both me and my mom have worked in food service you DONT do that). My final straw is recently I went in and tried to order a burrito that I've ordered many times before. I get a lot of meat on my burritos (up to 6 portions of meat) the girl then tells me it's "impossible" to get more than 3 servings of meat, I inform her that I've gotten more than 3 before where she tells me that IF anyone gave me more than 3 they made a mistake. I'm not going to argue and hold up the line but I know for a fact you can get more meat because I've done it every single time I've went there. My theory is they didn't want to run out of meat for the lunch rush, but it's not my problem if they can't keep up with how many customers they get. The nail in the coffin is this girl then turns around goes to the chef and asks something along the lines of "he wants more than 3 servings can he do that" the chef then looks at her confused and I hear him say CLEAR as day " He can have as many servings as he wants as long as he pays for it" This girl proceeds to turn around not even look in my direction and go to the next customer. This place is a joke, I'm standing there wanting to give the company extra money and I get denied. This is why this company is getting clowned all over the Internet. I and my family and friends will not...
Read moreWalking into this store is like portaling into the underworld. The staff appears dead inside and equally behaves as such.
I have tried this specific location 3 times, each time I regret it and each time I swear I will never go back. But sometimes I just need some quick rice while I'm out.
Today had been a terrible back pain day, I was nearly in tears so decided to grab quick food while I was out picking up meds. The person making the food was fine, not like she looked us in the eyes or treated us like humans, but she scooped the food fine.
Then we waited. There were only two other customers in the store and they were down getting their orders made. Husband and I stood there looking around waiting for someone to ring us up. We observed employees standing around talking to each other, clearly engaged. But not with work.
We waited, my back throbbed.... We waited,my back throbbed. I was in excruciating pain just standing there for no other reason than the employees needed to wrap up whatever side quest they were on that did not include work or customers.
I was thinking maybe the register person is in the back and will come out soon because none of these people were even acknowledging we were standing there, saying things like "Just a moment!" or "Be right there!" just zero acknowledgement.
Eventually after several minutes one of the women engaged in conversation or whatever with the other employee comes over. She doesn't look at us. Not a passing glance. Not a nod. Zero acknowledgement. No apology like sorry I was busy. Literally nothing. I couldn't even believe what was happening.
...and I honestly don't even know how one avoids human contact while working with humans but she somehow worked this out. Impressive.
I finally walked out because firstly I was in extreme pain but also, I wasn't in the mood for this and I didn't want to say anything about it because I am 100% sure they would have made themselves the victims in the scenario if I'd mentioned they should work while at work and look out for the customers who finance their situation.
Husband eventually emerged shaking his head. It was like we'd been in the Twilight Zone. That was the LAST time I will give that place my money. We work hard for it. We will spend it where we are...
