Brix Cheese Shop & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Iowa City

My friends and I scheduled a room to celebrate our friends birthday. They were extremely uncommunicative and did not make us aware of what we were paying for at all. We were under the impression that we would get to order food to eat but instead we were given little charcuterie boards for 200$. Wine and brie cheese that we had were fine, service was good. My main issue was, if you don't specify you want a small pour/glass, you get (apparently) a larger glass and of course pay more. They have three prices listed, the last is obviously a bottle but if you don't specify you will pay $11 or so per glass instead of the $6.50 on the menu. The best place to meet for lunch or an after dinner drink with friends. Beware of Wednesdays! It's Raclette night, the stinky cheese is delicious but can be off-putting if you're not expecting it. Try to coca-cola like vermouth with soda and a twist, delicious. Obviously the wine is wonderful but the wine spritzer is really fantastic too.
