Cactus 2 Restaurant & Cantina — Restaurant in Iowa City

Went in on a Saturday and they said it was going to be a half hour wait. My boyfriend and I made it clear that we were willing to wait. We also saw three open tables available and this resturaunt does not reserve so we were co fused. The host then kept changing the wait time to 45 min and then to an hour. Then proceeded to tell us they couldnt serve us because they didmt have any servers on.. on a Saturday...the night of an iowa iowa game. Anyways the host pretty much shoved us out the door and lost a big tab....

Similar to cactus 1 - good service, okay food. Great specials. HOWEVER! I ordered a whiskey coke and was charged $6 for it on a Saturday, when it's supposed to be $3 wells. The chips SMELLED musty, like when you leave foodstuffs in your pantry for years and then take a sniff and regret it. Still edible, just... off-putting. Clearly not fresh.
