Absolutely terrible service. After waiting almost 2 hours and our order we called 9:30pm and was told they would check on our order. Came within an answer order should be there in few min. Waited for another 15 minutes and never got my order My Fiancé who was making the calls, called again and spoke to lady ask her to speak with manager and she claimed her self to be manager so when he started explaining why does it took for an hour and half to get our order her answer was the driver Was NEW DRIVER CAME BACK TO STORE BECAUSE HE GOT LOST AND WENT BACK OUT HE SHOULD BE BACK WITHIN THE NEXT 5 minutes and when my fiancé try to say something she put him into an hold and someone else picked the phone claim him self to be manager. Here where the argument start and telling us that the order is in store and if don’t want I’ll cancel the order without fixing problems..could easily fixed the problem if he’s was actually manager and know what’s he doing also going tell with straight lie that driver try to call you when I clearly didn’t get call from any driver tell 10:46pm and with straight face you going tell me that driver could be lying to him about calling the customer.
I don’t want continue because I would never finish but I surely recommend to everyone in Iowa City not order from this location and as I mentioned before this without doubt one WORST TO PLACE...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible service. After waiting 1 and a half hours for our order we called and was told they would check on our order. We were then left on hold for 20 minutes at which time the phone hung up up from their end. We called back again and they told us that half of our order was ready minutes after we ordered but our wings weren't ready yet! They then told us that they wouldn't deliver to us and that we had to go in and pick up the order. My girlfriend, who was making the calls, was again put on hold (she was checking if I would go get the order) and again the phone was never answered. We called back a thrid and fourth time where if they heard her voice they hung up on her. Frankly the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I personally plan on reporting the crew that was there tonight. We love ordering from Domino's, but from here on out we will taking our business elsewhere. We also will let others know how terrible the service was. I hate to have to leave this review but I feel it's the only way to truly communicate and punish the miserable service we got.
PS I called a few times myself and once I got a hold of them I let them know we no longer wanted our order. They didn't even ask what order it was they...
Read moreSo typically I have good experience with this store. The food shows up quickly and is of expect quality. Not tonight, though. Tonight I placed my order at approximately 10 p.m. for delivery. Per the tracker my order left the store at 10:19. After waiting 45 minutes nothing had shown up so I decided to finally call the store. When talking to the store the informed me that their driver was having troubles with another delivery and my food should be at my house any minute now. Well that was a lie. My order didnt end up arriving until 5 minutes to midnight. The driver was courteous and told me the order was free, but upon taking my first bite of my sandwich it was apparant that this was the same sandwich they made 2 hours ago. The sandwiches dont have a good shelf life. It was basically soggy and cold. The pasta dish was in a bit better condition but I assume it was only because it is in it's own aluminum container. Needless to say I did not eat the sandwich. Hell I dont even want to allow my dogs to eat this (even though they probably would). Needless to say unless the store or dominos comes back to me and apologizes for this service I will not be sending my business...
