Small town vibes with fantastic food and quick service! All the food was hot and fresh and came out much faster than expected. My husband and I ordered far too much food, but who doesn’t love leftovers? Portions were great and the cost was too. We each had a lunch entrée, which came with the soup of the day, a choice of egg roll or crab rangoon, and fried rice. We also ordered three appetizers—crab rangoons(6), pan fried dumplings(8), and egg rolls(2). For all this, plus two beverages, we paid 54 dollars and some change. We live in Ames, and this meal would probably cost $80+ if we were there and it wouldn’t have been half as good. For real, I’ve tried to find decent Chinese in Ames and none of it has impressed yet. The rangoon filling was creamy, savory, and delicious. Some places make odd sweetened crab rangoons and I absolutely hate it. These were perfect. The egg rolls were beautifully crisp, and the pan fried dumplings were cooked perfectly and HUGE. The sauce they came with had a kick, too. My cashew chicken was perfect and well balanced between the veggies, meat, and nuts. My husband’s sweet and sour chicken was good as well. I will say that the egg drop soup was a bit too thick for me, but that’s a personal preference and my husband enjoyed it. Overall, fantastic and will definitely go again if we pass through town again.

One of the best Chinese Restaurants you will ever find. Having moved to the East Coast, I definitely miss this place.

I read a review where the reviewer complained about a rude waiter. Haha. I read it to my wife and she said, "I bet I know who that is." Yeah. That guy is just like that. Making him smile is a goal of mine. We just love these people. If you reread that review you will notice such things as "look of disgust." Well, that is in the eye of the beholder. They go out of their way to make everything perfect and come pretty darn close. If everyone worked as hard as these folks it would be a different world. Don't just come here for the excellent food and service, come here to show your kids what hard work and...

I absolutely love this place. Great food, prepared fresh, good prices, friendly service. Willing to alter dishes upon request. Change heat/spice from none to 10X normal. 🔥 Unfortunately this restaurant is over 1000 miles from home, but I eat here at least once every visit to the area. Even though we only get here once or twice a year these days, they remember how my husband likes his orange beef, the only question is, does he want it 7* hot or 10* hot. I have yet to find any other Chinese restaurant anywhere I've been with the same level of great flavors as this little gem of...
