This was my first time trying this little place and it was really good! I got there a little late in the evening after things were starting to wind down, but they still seated me and waited on me and there were a few other people that came in after me. It’s not anything fancy, and it’s not very big. I didn’t get there till around 8:30. I had the pasta Trio. That consisted of lasagna, stuffed shell, and manicotti. It was served with garlic rolls and a side salad. So to start with, the side salad was excellent and good portions! More than just your run of the mill side salad. Then the little garlic rolls were also excellent! I could have made a meal off of those. Then when my food came out, it was also excellent! It took a little long on the food so I guess that would be my only complaint but as I said, I got there late, so I will cut them some slack on that. I had a server named Kristen and she did an excellent job. I did not get a picture of the salad, but I did take a picture of the main course and the menu. Yes, I will go back! And I really want to try some of that good looking...

I don't have high expectations for restaurants anymore, especially on a takeout order. The outside had the typical mom-and-pop New York-style pizza look and I started thinking, here goes another run-of-the-mill, one step above frozen pizza again, and spaghetti on par with Chef Boyardee. I got home, and the food was literally like a blast out of the past. I mean like the 70's or early 80's. Very generous portions with that homespun taste. The pizza actually had generous toppings rather than looking like a target shot with a .410 @ 100yds. The crust was just the right texture. Bite and tug just a bit, with a good taste, and good mouthfeel. No cracker-like or Bisquick crust junk here. The baked spaghetti was also excellent, with a homemade taste. You might have to wait a bit, but Ferrara will be my go-to pizza place from now on. My only 1st time there regret is that I didn't get a piece of that custard cake in the front cooler. I thought of that cake all evening. If you have a picky crowd, they have a ton of...

(This is a review from native up North people)

Well deserved 5 stars to Ferrara Real NY Pizza!!! In fact, I wish I could give you guys a fat juicy 10!

We've been going to this place for a year now, and every time, we love it even more! Thank goodness there's a place like this in SC cause omg!

They always welcome us with big, sincere smiles! The food is simply finger licking amazing, the service is simply incredible, and the prices are simply awesome! It's hard (and I mean extremely hard!) to find places like this nowadays, so go give it a try, you'd love it, guarantee! 💯 😉

Real Italians! Real pizza! Amazing, cozy, VERY CLEAN, and welcoming spot. 1,000% recommend 👌

Let me say it again... REAL, KIND, HUMBLE, GOOD HEARTED ITALIAN PEOPLE DOING ONE OF THE THINGS THEY DO BEST...!!!!!!! The only bad thing is that we didn't...

I have to give a shout out to AJ from South Jersey. He took my order and was a pleasure to have a conversation with. I ordered two meatballs and a XL Meatlovers pizza (please see photos below). This establishment has dine in seating and a great environment. Everyone was friendly, smiling and willing to answer any questions you may have. I didn't know there was a difference in a "pizza" and a "pie." My entire order was less than $40.00 and they do offer military discounts after verification. The pizza was very hot, cheesy and I could taste meat in every bite. That handmade and oven-baked crust will fill you up every time. The meatballs were humongous and not what I was expecting. The sauce and the seasoning that was added was very good. I am looking forward to my next visit and trying a different selection on the menu.

Great Bronx style pizza pies, quality mozzarella, gravy is reserved, excellent carriage/presentation. 2.75$ lunch slices are very fairly priced at time of this review. Shown is a Ferrara house pie, similar to a supreme 27.99$ for an 18" and it's absolutely all of 18". Firm crust not overdone yet chewy and very very fresh, little oily, toppings are generous. Not my personal favorite but I'm extremely difficult to please in regards to authentic NYC pies. You'd be completely uninformed to pass this opportunity up, less extreme criticism would pass this palace as a solid nine out of ten for sure. You get what you pay for and this place delivers well for a fresh, flavorful pie that will justify the price point. Cheers!
