I’ve always ordered from this place particularly Bhindi Masala a vegetarian dish and before that, I’ve ordered from two other locations but this location is closer to my residence so I know how the food should taste. Tonight I placed the same order and the okra was tasteless, missing tomatoes for sure and who knows what other ingredients are missing. I know how the food should taste. I immediately call Natraj and the person I spoke to thought I’m looking for a refund, therefore he kept dismissing me. I told him “ Grub Hub is just a delivery service, your kitchen cooked the dish and I’m calling to give you feedback that I’m not satisfied with how it was cooked.” So then he says it was cooked the same way they normally cook and that I should let Grub Hub know about my order. Read morePre/post hike meeting here is perfect. I met Alvin months ago. He assisted me in this real time education of how Natraj's Tandoori excels in the City of Irvine nested in the posh area of Quail Hill and aristocratic Shady Canyon (Private). Natraj's Tanddori is considered fast Indian food---which seemed to defy the word fast quite often.

On another visit, we tasted crisp samosas and were reminded of Shanti's in Vancouver, BC. Chana masala engages four of my senses.
Samosas are still deliciously crisp and paired with mint chutney / tamarind sauce. After several weeks we tried the Mango Lassi. Surely---though not overly promoted---this is the highlight of the menu. The mango was perfectly infused into the yogurt (sans fibers). Thanks Alvin for the top-notch service/suggestions. Always look forward to culinary sustenance offered here. Clean and reimagined...

This restaurant is conveniently located on Quail Hill Pkwy in Irvine, where you can easily find parking and a table, since it is always empty. The cashier will greet you with a charming smile and a friendly attitude, as long as you don't ask any questions or expect any service. You will have to order and pay at the counter, but don't worry, the food will be ready in no time. You will be pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food, which is the only reason why anyone would come here. The portions are generous, the spices are authentic, and the flavors are amazing. You will forget all about the rude cashier and the lack of ambiance, as you savor every bite of your meal. Just make sure you don't leave any tip, because they don't deserve it. Nataraj Tandoori is the perfect place to go if you want to treat yourself to some great food and some bad service. You will love it, or hate...
