I dined it at this place on 09/26/22. Ambiance was alright. My server was very sympathetic towards my experience and recommended veg jhol momo.. which was good. I had ordered mixed chowmin with only shrimp, egg and veggies. It was the most disappointing chowmin ever. It was delivered after 40 mins to begin with looked like there were paying more attention to the Togo clients then dine it one. Secondly, chowmin were dry, had no eggs or any veggies in it. Once it was delivered to me no one checked in me for me to point out it was missing eggs in it. I was upset but decided not to complain. Just asked for a Togo box and asked to not to be charged for mixed chowmin because it was missing eggs and veggies. It had barely 5-6 tiniest shrimp ever and mind you, I had to fish it out of it. Anyways, lady who was charging me refused Of what I was saying and asked chef if he had put eggs in it? I don't know how are you going accept chefs word against customers right in front of the customers face. They inquired with chef in front of me n(I heard the conversation) and proceeded to explain me "mam it in there, it's scrambled so you can't find it but egg is there" . So I just asked to pay for the bill and went back to my table to pack the most expensive chowmin I ate and did not like 🙄. They were dry, had barely anything else other than noodles in it. I am posting pictures of it . y'all be the judge of it!! Worst chowmin ever served, and worst way to deal to unhappy customer. Customer service is the most important part when the food fails to impress them. Please focus on it!! The last picture is how mixed chowmin is served at other restaurants.

If your an "adventurous" & "try new things" type of person. I recommend checking this place out. It's delicious. First picture, the menu of "(Himalayan Aroma)" *Note - They are remodeling the sign so it's literally across from the small gas station.* Second, the beverage of choice "(Mango smoothie)" sweet and delicate drink is full of flavor. Packs a savory & blissful punch. Your taste buds will thank you. Third, the snack "(Papadum chips)" packs a soft blow of garlic and spices to deliver a very satisfying haymaker to your taste buds. I enjoyed munching on these chips slowly. Not over powering, just the perfect balance. Forth, the appetizer "(Pork chili)" delicious, pork cubes in a chili bath and bell peppers along with a spicy kick to up the ante on your taste buds and tolerance. I ate half of it before I took a bite of a long lasting spicy uppercut. However, I was determined to finish and enjoy the rest of it. We all taste spices differently so proceed at caution. It's more or less mild, but that one bite was like halfway to the authentic Mexican red hot salsa. I finished it without any regrets. The fifth but definitely not the least, the entree, "(Chicken Momo)". The moment I've been waiting for, the dish that brings it all together, that wraps the flavor nice and neatly for your taste buds to consume and devour bite by bite, one by one. It's a nicely packed chicken dumpling. The sauce is the bow on top. If it had a To/From note, it would read. TO: Your taste buds, FROM: Elegantly Delicious. I walked out thinking about Arnold Schwarzenegger's popular line in Terminator. "I'll be back."

Updating to 5 stars. The 3.3 stars is because of multiple management in the past. I hope the ratings improves and all the (previously unhappy foodie) will be back and give this restaurant a new try. This is the oldest and 1st Nepali Restaurant of Dallas. In 16 years I have seen so many management changes due to their bad food but today is definitely not that day I was so surprised with the quality of food and service. We only ordered 2 Nepali Thaali and tell you what, this is the most authentic Nepali thaali I have ever had in USA Felt like home food cooked by my mom. The food is so awesome, each ingredient was fresh. And so many things on a single thaali Goat gravy (the best) Daal Rice Green peas gravy Saag Salad Papad Tomato achar Fish Jerky achar Ghundruk Ssdheko Kimchi Omg… the surprising thing is each tasted heavenly. I am so delighted and have millions to say and it would fall short. Please give this management a chance and revisit the iconic restaurant of DFw. The service was awesome too. Small sister first greeted so nicely and the other was Aastha. They both are nice and paid attention to us and never had to ask for anything coz they made sure of it. I wish all the very best and hope it succeed. I was here July 29 Saturday at around 1:30 pm for lunch
