Dunkin' — Restaurant in Irvington

I live in the area and frequent this location because it's close to home but at this point for 3 years of trying to shop local and support minority businesses, I just can not anymore. The fact that this location never has any caramel in stock is definitely bothersome. I mean if you run out so often, common retail sense would say to order more to cover your bases but this store just can not keep up at all.

The drive thru line is always out to the street and looping around. But when I send my daughter to the store with a text message of what she should be getting, these staff can't get the orders right for nothing in the world. I am on FACETIME with my daughter and they have an issue with every customer there because they can't make coffee correct or get people's order right.

The fact that they sent my daughter out of the store without a cup holder for the 2 drinks she ordered and told her they can't give her a box for the 1/2 dozen donuts that were ordered that they just threw in the bag is sickening. They even gave me 2 donuts that were not asked for and did not take them back to give the right donuts and refund my money makes me make up the decision to never ever so long as I shall live return to this location. My daughter walked 10minutes home and coffee spilled all over her. HATE is a strong word but this location gets ZERO stars and a bunch of HATE from me.

I order my coffee through the drive through every single day today i went inside to get the same order to cut time from the drive through line. i expressed i wanted caramel around my cup and on top and even did the hand motion the woman at the counter understood and made my coffee. when i finally got my coffe i realized that there was no caramel around the cup, i said it was okay and just asked for caramel in a little espresso cup which they have done for me before, when they’ve forgotten and i didn’t want them to start all over. the cashier was TWO seconds from handing it to me when a woman i’m assuming was the manager came out from behind the register and told me it was 50 cents. i got my drink apart of the meal deal and i explained i had already told the cashier my exact order and if they want to just remake it, they can, she then took the coffee from my hand and looked at the label and said “there’s no caramel on here, it’s extra”… i explained that it wasn’t my fault, i wasn’t the one putting in the order but i told the cashier i wanted caramel but she only put it at the top. they still tried to argue with me and i just said never mind and left, who knew 50 cents was going to cause all this extra commotion. i had no problem PAYING for the caramel which i’ve done in the past when my order was FIRST put in, but once again this wasn’t...

I had a very concerning experience at the Dunkin’ on 545 Chancellor Ave, Irvington, NJ. The south Asian/ Indian lady with the deep voice behind the counter was extremely pushy when I tried to pay for my order, urging me to pay in cash rather than with my card. After I handed her the cash, I noticed she didn’t even put it in the register, which raised a lot of red flags. It seemed like she was trying to avoid proper transaction procedures. This behavior is completely unacceptable, and I’m left wondering where my money went. It’s very unprofessional, and I’m not comfortable returning to a location where cash handling is so suspicious. I would recommend caution when paying here, as I don’t believe this employee is following standard procedures. I won’t be coming back anytime soon. I have been coming to this specific Dunkin' even before they remodeled, and I have never experienced such, it has happened about three times now with this woman, and I tried asking her, but she told me that the register is not working.
