Crooked Palm Cabana — Restaurant in Islamorada

This was our first experience here. The ambiance was very nice. It wasn't too quiet or too loud. Our waitress Mikala was super sweet and helpful with all our questions. The food is served from a food truck, so it didn't all come out at the same time, but if you're patient, it's not a problem. The only issue we had with the food was that someone in our party ordered the Burrata Arugula Salad, and they were disappointed by the lack of salad. It was a lot of bread with very little arugula. The waitress mentioned it to the manager and they both came and apologized and they removed it from our bill. They have their own vodka distillery there and they brought samples of the different flavors for us to try. They have an amazing drink menu with lots of options, even mocktails. Some of the drinks come in a fun decorative cup. Unfortunately, you don't get to keep the cup. I asked our waitress about the prices of the cups and she was able to tell me how much each one was. They seemed a bit expensive to me, but if you really like them, it might be worth it because some of them are really cool. They offered indoor or outdoor seating. We choose indoor and didn't see what the outdoor seating looked like. The seating indoors was limited, but they did offer different options. They offered seating at the bar, bench seating, tables (6 people), or high tops (4 people). Inside you can see the distillery through a glass window. It's very cool! Today we went to the Crooked Palm Cabana for brunch. While they’ve been open since April, it was our first visit and let me tell you they did not disappoint! As soon as you walk in (inside seating or outside seating) the vibe is comfortable, chic and relaxing. The food was very good. The menu was not overwhelming and with a good variety. We went for Sunday brunch and had the absolute BEST experience. Starting with our server, Brittney who gave us great meal recommendations with a smile and positive attitude. Then there was Jimmy … Oh, Jimmy… hands-down THE BEST Mixologist in the Florida Keys!! Making our visit as memorable as it was, Jimmy’s passion for his craft shines in every cocktail he mixes! You can go to any bar and have a drink, but at the Crooked Palm you have an experience! Jimmy’s incredible creativity and attention to detail, sharing insights about the ingredients and techniques that made every sip unique. I was there yesterday with my wife and 2 more friends and from the start was a disaster we order few beers and pizza,special plus garlic nokts and glasses donut with chocolate also meat balls i really l really dont know where to begin the o4der was take for 2 different servers that ofcourse by time to get the pizza special we're screwed the order 6h4n the garlic knots were burn and dry the meatballs and specially the marinara o pomodoro sauce have a weird looking and thick and kind of paste on top 5hat really don't know what it was pizza dry no pizza sauce just at little paint on the pizza and processed chesse bad iideq lame service was mediocre in local living in Islamorada for years now but we was getting making dun abput my friend acxen5 from NYC I decided to talk to The manager but was more about the same shame because is a really nice place with h7ge potential ill love to do a note for my platform for free as I said to the manager ill not endorse the food I talk her we can work around that but i guess she was interested in the exposure in social media As i said no tearing the place apart if no try to make it better thata why I give my humble opinion u can do much better Ty in advance in this matter ty
