If I could rate this a zero, I would. I went to this restaurant on 4/11/19 around 10:00 PM EST and specifically ordered an Angry Whopper, and four Spicy Chicken Jr's with everything on them. What I got when I finally opened my food, long gone from this place, was a regular Whopper and four regular, non-spicy Chicken Jr's where two of them were not even made how I ordered and only had lettuce and mayo on them, but I STILL got charged for the extra condiments and veggies I asked for (and did not receive). I didn't get this employee's name but he did absolutely nothing to put effort into making this food. When I opened the sandwhiches, loose strips of lettuce poured out all over my lap.
I went there wanting to place an order through the App, and the App wasn't working correctly and kept erasing my order so I asked if I could please just have my order how I was making it on the app, which came to about $13. Instead, he obviously did not understand what I was asking him for and I got charged nearly $18 for this terrible food that I WAS excited for until I realized I got an order with 0 effort. I know it's fast food. But I barely even got my actual order at all. The only thing that was good and correct about my order was the strawberry shake which was fine and had ample whipped cream.
I was also charged the price for a large onion ring. I have had onion rings of all sizes from BK before and what I got was obviously a medium onion ring, but I was charged the large price. Whoever was working tonight doesn't care about this location's customers. He was rude to me, and was rushing me and cutting me off when i was trying to explain my very simple order. He didn't even put a receipt in my bag, or I'd know his first name and be able to specify which employee it was besides by listing the exact time and date of my visit.
I will not be giving this location my business again.
EDIT: Attempted to call this place by phone to see if I could speak to a manager the same night, tonight, 4/11/19. Called once, no answer after several rings despite the location being open nearly twenty minutes more. Called again and got disconnected after two ringbacks. I said to myself "No way they disconnected their line to stop me from calling them," and tried again. A busy signal. They did.
I called again. A man picked up and I asked for the manager, and he said a manager is there. I asked if the manager there tonight was Jonathan, who is was apparent from other reviews is this location's owner. The man on the phone, who had a heavy accent, told me he WAS the manager. Okay. I said, specifically, "Is this Jonathan?" He says, "Yes, it's Jonathan." I proceed to speak to him thinking he must be Jonathan and explain my issue that I received a regular whopper and not the Angry Whopper I paid for. He literally told me that the only difference between a regular Whopper and an Angry Whopper was the paper wrapper. Not, you know, the fact that an angry Whopper has jalapenos and spicy sauce and fried onions instead of pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce.
At the end of my phone call, I asked this gentleman to once again confirm his first name for me. He told me his name was Polia, or Pola. But it sure wasn't the name he gave me the first time, which was the name of the owner (Jonathan). So now I've been charged for food I didn't get AND was lied to and told I was speaking to the owner about my concern when I actually wasn't.
I kept my food that I didn't eat and i am going to go back tomorrow and ask for the money back or the correct food. Let's just hope the fact Polia didn't give me a receipt doesn't come back to bite me. Needless to say, I am not pleased. I hope the real Jonathan sees this and something is done to address the fact that he has employees who like to claim to be him on the phone, not give receipts, and charge people for extra veggies on a sandwich and not actually deliver, and cut customers off and rush them while trying to order. Maybe if he stopped to listen to my order the first time this wouldn't be the...
Read moreBurger King, a well-known fast-food chain, has its distinct characteristics that set it apart from other burger joints. Here's a review based on my experience:
Flame-Grilled Burgers: Burger King is celebrated for its flame-grilled cooking method, which imparts a unique and savory flavor to its burgers. The Whopper, in particular, stands out for its smoky taste.
Menu Variety: The menu at Burger King is diverse, offering a range of burgers, chicken sandwiches, and vegetarian options. The ability to "have it your way" with customization is a plus.
Value Menu: Burger King frequently offers value menu items, making it an attractive choice for those on a budget.
Breakfast Options: The breakfast menu is a crowd-pleaser with items like the Croissan'wich and French toast sticks.
Fries and Onion Rings: The side options, including the classic fries and onion rings, are well-seasoned and enjoyable.
Drive-Thru Efficiency: Burger King is known for its efficient drive-thru service, which is great for those seeking a quick meal on the go.
Desserts: Don't forget to try their desserts, such as the Hershey's Sundae Pie or milkshakes, to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Cleanliness and Atmosphere: While the atmosphere may vary by location, many Burger King restaurants are clean and welcoming.
However, there are also some aspects to consider:
Nutritional Value: Like many fast-food chains, some menu items can be high in calories, saturated fats, and sodium. Health-conscious consumers should be mindful of their choices.
Quality Consistency: While the flame-grilled taste is a hallmark, the consistency of food quality can vary from one Burger King location to another.
Limited Vegetarian Options: While Burger King offers vegetarian options like the Impossible Whopper, the variety may not be as extensive as some other fast-food chains.
Environmental Concerns: Like all fast-food chains, Burger King faces scrutiny regarding environmental practices, particularly in terms of packaging and sustainability.
In summary, Burger King is a go-to destination for those craving flame-grilled burgers and diverse fast-food options. While nutritional considerations and quality consistency should be kept in mind, it remains a popular choice for a quick and satisfying meal, particularly for burger...
Read moreFIRE THIS WORKER! Just picked up my order from this spot and first off I want to say that the food is amazing quality and I blame none of this on the other workers EXCEPT… the lady with the BIG birthmark on her face who looks like she eats about 20 of those Triple Whoppers every time she clocks in. Someone else was infront of me waiting to pick up an order and the workers didn’t say a word to either of us. The big ole stinky whopper lady picked up a bag and handed it to the customer in front of me and it was the wrong order (ended up being mine). Then she just leaves. After a few minutes she comes back and stares at me for a few seconds and rudely says “did you order already?” I said “yes I’m picking up an order for (my name)” she doesn’t even say anything, the other customer who was handed the wrong order said “that’s what this one says” pointing to the bag brought out earlier. She then just turns around to talk to the other worker about non-work related stuff. Who hires people like this? It’s bad enough to LOOK like you have an ugly personality but to actually have one...
