Guiseppe's Pizza — Restaurant in Jackson Township

Guiseppe's in Akron was my family’s go to for Pizza as we grew up. Best pizza in town. We now live in Jackson Township and today was the second time we ordered pizza from the Canton location and second time for being extremely disappointed. First time was a Margarita Pizza with absolutely no flavor. Today a white pizza (highly recommended), again with absolutely no flavor. When ordering over the phone, I asked them to eliminate the black olives but add fresh basil. They eliminated the olives, but charged me additional for the basil. Not to mention the basil was added under the cheese before baking therefore no longer fresh basil and no flavor whatsoever. Very little tomatoes but an inch of mushrooms. Worst pizza we have ever had. We each ate one piece and threw the rest out. Prior to ordering I signed up for the text club. They sent me a 20% off coupon but never applied it to my bill. I give them two stars for having the best crust around, but wish the rest of the pizza was...

If you have not tried Guiseppe's Pizza, I HIGHLY recommend you do! Many years as a teen, I lived close to their Akron location. All I could remember was how incredible the sauce and cheese was!! Many years later...lol...I was thrilled to see they opened the Jackson Twp location on Wales Rd. It is operated by the same family!!! I ordered the deluxe, which has green peppers, onions, pepperoni, and sausage. I never order sausage on my pizza. But if you try Guiseppe's homemade sausage, you will love it!!! Their sauce is fantastic, and they don't overload it, just the right amount. They are not stingy with their cheese!! Crust is great too! They have great salads, subs, desserts, etc-everything is delicious!! Also, Guiseppe's does have booths inside if you want to eat it. Friendly owners and workers! They have won many awards for their pizza. Again, I am so happy there is a location by me! If you haven't tried Guiseppe's before, please do!! You will...

The food at guiseppe's on CASTON RD in green is amazing and I will ALWAYS travel the distance it takes to get there for their pizza. However this location is atrocious. We waited over an hour for our order we were the only people left in the building and the "manager " tells us they lost our order. ( mistakes happen I get that) but her rude ,unprofessional attitude toward me was completely unnecessary then while she was replacing the order she was slamming food trays, rolling her eyes and mumbling under her breath to her coworkers It doesn't get more unprofessional than that( I can see her the whole time as the restaurant has an open kitchen! )SHE MESSED UP .NOT ME . Yet I got nothing but attitude from her. she even hid in the back refusing to come out and give us even so much as an apology for our wait. I feel sorry for anyone who works for her ......we will NEVER visit this location again such a disgrace to beautiful...
