Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Jackson Township

I ordered a small Reece’s Mudslide concrete, formerly known as a blendini. The price listed on the menu was around $3.09 and I was charged over $8. Reading the newest reviews, you can see that I am not the only one who was charged this exorbitant amount that was almost triple the cost that was listed on the menu. I asked the workers about the discrepancy and they apologized and got the manager involved. (I am sure that this issue is much greater than the workers and do not fault them in any case.) Apparently, according to the system, I was being charged separately for all the peanut butter mix-ins. This brought down the price to $6, still double the price of what the menu had listed.

When I received my icecream, it was not mixed at all. The first half of the icecream was all vanilla with no sight of Reece’s found anywhere. Only when I got to the bottom did I find any glimpse of what could be considered peanut butter flavor.

I’m not one to write reviews, especially negative ones, but PLEASE be aware of what you are charged. Do not be blindly charged TRIPLE the listed cost for custard that is nowhere near the quality it should be and once used to be. Spare the hassle and visit Farley’s, TK’s, Icecream on 9 or some other local...

Customer service was beyond poor ! So let me tell u about my last visit to the Jackson ritas so I order me and my brothers some ice cream bam he tells me it's 23 and some change so I give him my card bam the card machine isn't working so I've been outside in like 90 degree weather basically for no reason so I'm like ok I'll go to a ATM go to a ATM come back order the Same exact stuff but it comes out cheaper I'm not mad about that whatever so boyfriend explained to employee what we had to do in hopes of being some how compensated for there poor service and the jerk goes oh I can't wish I could get free stuff too mind u I had to wait on line again mind u I didn't ask for anything free but as a establishement I feel like if you were at fault there is something you can do about it but whatever not everyone knows how to run a business customer service totally trash here !!!!
