I have to say i am saddened by this because I loved this salon had been going there for years and mostly always professional. I will not say who it was as to give her more respect then to embarrassed her, which is more then she has given me.. Because my daughter had covid in March months before they reopened she gave me a hard time about booking an appointment. Oh dont you want to get a Covid test?.. No my daughter is grown and does not live with me and i hadn't seen her for over 2 months because of Covid. Well we will take your temperature. Ok so i took my temperature while on the phone. It was 98.3 she said oh thats high it should be 97.7. I said no the normal temperature is 98.6. She said Oh cdc says.. so I went on the cdc it says nothing like that.. She also said oh we will wait a week and then we make an appointment. She never called.. so I am guessing they did not need my business.. I will not be made to feel like i am being forced to take a Covid test to go to your salon or made to feel less then because my daughter who I wasn't around had Covid almost 3 months before you reopened. You go to the store shopping im sure and don't worry but to do my nails which is your job with a plastic shield a mask on a plastc divider up but im a threat to you and everyone else because you have children. SO DO I! I have grandbabies as well. Don't work there if your afraid. But don't make someone else feel bad or less then because of your fear.
I never said anything before about these incidents before because this was my nail salon and as not to rock the boat but I was honestly mortified by this. I am a smoker and have been insulted several times while in there getting my nails done loudly in front of other customers which was embarrassing that I smelled like cigarettes. You should never do that to a client people smoke and no matter what be professional and keep your mouth shut. Im not there for your opinion i am there for a service. Whats sad is I liked this salon and how my nails always came and how long they would last. But there are salons on almost every corner and im sure someone else would appreciate my business for the $100 I spend almost every time I have walked...
Read moreI wish I could give this place 0 stars. Originally the first time I had gone it was amazing. Could not stop showing off my nails. I went a second time with my sister, I asked for the exact same thing from the nail tech as I had on (almond nails, French tip in pink color) the nail tech not only made my nails into circles and not almonds, they were all uneven, drilled my actual nails so thin, made the French tip thick and uneven. I asked him to redo them, he said yes, he did it a 2nd time and they were worse the the first time. I told him again I didn't like them he drilled them off told me he had another customer and to go wait at the front. Was very rude and nasty. I saw him then get up sit in the back eat and stare daggers at me. All this gentleman had to say was "hey I don't think I can give you what you'd like let me have one of my colleges take care of you" instead he fought with me even though I apologized and asked for something else. No one working there would help me. Everyone was rude, told me to come back to see someone else. I tried to even tip the guy since he did my nails twice, he wouldn't accept scoffed at me. So I walked out with no nail polish, a horrible taste in my mouth and thin destroyed nails. If you want professionalism don't go here. Even the tech doing my sisters nails made her bleed and didn't paint them all the way to the end. 0...
Read moreToday I went for a gel manicure/pedicure. I got seen right away for the gel manicure and when Kenny was done he told me to sit in chair 1 for the pedicure. After sitting there for 15 minutes with no one filling the bowl with water, and seeing three people who came in after me getting started on their pedicures, I asked the front desk employee how much longer I would be waiting (I had a baby 3 weeks ago and only had someone watching her for a certain amount of time so I didnât have time to wait around all day). She didnât know how much longer but instead of taking action and seeing when someone would be available, she just looked confused at me with no response. I told her I could go somewhere else if they were too busy. She said âokay sounds goodâ đ¤¨đ§ I was so confused on how quick they were okay to lose business. So I got up from the chair, gathered my belongings and went to pay. As soon as I was paying, Kenny (the guy that did my manicure) started to turn on the water for someone else who sat there and immediately started their pedicure. I told the front desk employee I was surprised at how quick they were to lose business and she just smiled at me. Needless to say, I will not...
