okay let's begin by saying for one on that particular day they were not taking debit cards and or credit cards for whatever reason only cash although there was no one in the restaurant it took 15 minutes to get my order. Number 2 my order was cold number 3 I ordered a 15-piece shrimp I received 12 or my plate so I had to send it back not only was I missing three shrimp but my French fries were cold from the start the manager proceeded to come in and announced that she had to go and buy inventory out of her pocket such as shrimp and I couldn't hear what else because they ran out the coleslaw had absolutely no taste whatsoever if you need someone to make some coleslaw I can make it for you a whole heck of a lot better than it had absolutely no mayonnaise in it no taste whatsoever number for the fish batter was not done I can verify all of this was pictures that I took the fish batter was not done so when you got to the middle of your product it was just sticky because it was not fully cooked, the only bright spot to my visit on Sunday approximately 3:30 in the afternoon was Toya, she worked over and above the staff there are not properly trained and she is only oneone person who ran back and forth through that store like a chicken with her head cut off trying to make sure her customers were satisfied kudos to Toya, oh and also if I met at a number 5 if anyone cares the shrimp were no bigger than my pinky you will see in one of the pictures where I'm holding it shrimp that's once I peeled off all the batter that...
Read moreThey are terrible. Today I went through there on my way to Nashville and I ordered the giant fish sandwich combo. I was on the interstate by the time I got situated enough to eat. When I opened my tray, there was green mold all over the top of my sandwich. I was upset because I’m 5 months pregnant and I was hungry but I have always loved captain Ds so I gave them the benefit of a doubt and I didn’t even call to complain. When I came back through later tonight my husband was driving and I was in the passenger seat. He told them at the window there was some mold on my bun and I just would like a refund. The manager came to the window with a very foul attitude. She asked for the drink back and the slaw back. The slaw was inside the tray the whole time. Which I know for a fact was inside the tray cause I didn’t even take the lid off considering the sandwich was full of mold! She then went on to refund me for just the sandwich. I am disgusted with the way I was treated tonight, especially with this being one of my favorite restaurants. Neither me nor my husband talked to this lady poorly, we gave her respect even in the circumstances we were in. She had a terrible attitude about it all. She showed extremely poor leadership skills tonight. I will not be eating here anymore and I’m uploading a picture of the mold to my Facebook page! Read moreCompletely unorganized. I have tried, no less than 5 times to eat here since it opened. But regardless of the time I go, it’s completely packed, line not moving. So I leave. Today, I got there about 10 minutes before they open at 10:30. About 10:35 I go to the window asking if their drive thru is working and she said yes but they aren’t serving yet. I confirmed that they open at 10:30 and she said they did but that the food wasn’t ready yet and wouldn’t be for a little while. Well...I don’t have time to wait, again, and so I had to leave. I guess FAST food is an out and out lie when you go there.
Update: went back a couple weeks ago since the first mass influx of people has died down and you can actually get in the parking lot now. Service takes quite a while, even in drive thru, but that’s normal for Captain Ds. Our meals were correct and exactly as expected, except that an appetizer was left out of the order. When I went inside to address the situation, I told them what was missing, the staff member turned around, grabbed it from the kitchen window and handed it to me without a word.
I prefer Captain Ds food over LJS so I’m sure I will be back. But lesson learned: if you check your bag before you leave and make sure you have plenty of time to wait for your food/don’t be in a rush you...
