Green Frog Coffee & Grill — Restaurant in Jackson

We're new to the area and had been eyeballing this place for a while. I usually go to Cloud 9 to get my loaded teas (LOVE them), but they closed before I could get to them so I went searching for other places nearby with loaded teas that we're open and saw this place had some. BINGO (or so I thought)! I ordered a loaded tea and my husband got a frappe. We pulled up and waited...and waited. Everyone was moving soooo slow. It took them a little more than 5 minutes to make my husband's frappe and 15 to make my tea and THEY LEFT AN ALMOST 2 INCH GAP AT THE TOP. It took them that long, but I watched it sit at the window for 5-10 minutes before the guy working the window opened up the door to give it to me. I asked them to remake it since it sat so long (and thinking they'd finish filling it this time). It took another 5-10 minutes to "remake" it and I still ended up with the same thing! We spent 30 MINUTES (zero exaggeration) IN THE DRIVE-THRU! WTFFFF! My husband didn't even like his drink because it felt and tested like they put half a bottle of syrup in it. I'm beyond disappointed. We saw a lot of stuff on the menu, but after this we'll never be back....

My husband and I had a rough day and wanted to stop and get some taco soup from green frog on South highland. I knew they closed at 8 and it was 7:47 to be exact, so I know the employees were wanting to get closed and home. So we were going to just get the cold pint and warm it at home. I pulled up to the speaker and was told by a recording that they were closed. So, I thought they thought we wanted something hot and they had turned off the grill already. So I backed up and parked in a parking spot and a big guy came running to the door to lock it. Just really rude!! I get it, it was close to closing time, but if he would have been nice enough to just say something to me, I would have told him I just wanted him to put the soup cold into a container for me to take home. That would have taken about five minutes and they could still have closed by 8 o'clock which is their closing time!!! Closing time is 8pm not 7:45!!! We will never go back. It was just the rudest thing, why even have hours at all? Just close when you feel like it I guess I won't be back there at all and neither will my family and we used...

This place I used to like for it to be on southside of Jackson and I had called in an order on my lunch break last week, and they had no recognition or trace of me calling, but yet had my phone number and everything. I call my order in ahead of time so it’ll be ready and when I get there it’s not ready they don’t even know what I’m talking about. They asked me what name I called it in under and I said they didn’t get a name so the lady was like well we always get names I said. Well this time you didn’t so then I called them and they fix my order and I asked them to make it prior to when I was going to be there and I get my food today I got the build your own burger and my burger was so soggy that I couldn’t even pick it up.
