China Wok — Restaurant in Jackson

Over the last 15 years I’ve tried every Chinese restaurant in the area at least once. In my opinion China Wok surpasses all the others by a significant margin. Their Hunan Beef is the best I’ve ever had, and the only one I’ve had that even comes close was 20 years ago in another state. I haven’t tried a wide variety on the menu yet, but the beef, noodle, and rice dishes have been wonderful. The Hot Sour soup is pretty good everywhere in town, but the soup here has some extra kick and crunch(bamboo shoots, finely cut strips) nobody else is doing. Ordered 2 orders of general Tso chicken a qt of lo mein and sweet and sour chicken only got 1 general tso chicken called to inquire and they proceeded to argue with me saying that I received it when I didn’t after I drove 30 min to pick they wanted me to bring all food back I guess so I could get my other order of cold chicken to drive home with even more cold food this will be the last time I order from their place all I can say is make sure you double check your order before you leave or they will argue and call you a liar if...

I moved back to Jackson and tried so many Chinese restaurants. China Wok is by far the best. The food is always excellent and the service is fast. You can't eat in but most orders are ready in 10 minutes. You don't go for the atmosphere or to use the restroom, it's closed but I would wait an hour and walk next door to pee for a plate of their delicious food. Don't miss this hidden gem.
