My family has been going to Cardo's Pizza for 20 years, but we will not be back because of a recent occurrence. We live in Albany, which is about a 40 minute drive from Cardo's. We got a pizza the other night, got it home, and it was overcooked. It wasn't burned, but it was tough, hard to chew, and not enjoyable. I called the manager and told him, and he gave me two options: drive 40 minutes to exchange it, or $5.00 off our next pizza. I told him this pizza was not edible and that I lived too far away to bring it back. He said that is all he could offer me. He told me if neither of those options were satisfactory to call between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to talk to the owner. He didn't care one bit that a customer had been served an overcooked pizza. I called and spoke to the owner just now, and he offered me half off. I explained that this pizza was tough and not edible, and that I spent my money and my time on getting this pizza and it should be made right, but he would not offer me anything but half off my next one. There will not be a next one. If you can't stand by your product and right your wrongs, you shouldn't be in a business where you serve the public. What a shame that they've decided to conduct...
Read moreVery nice affordable pizzas! Their food is great!! They have a pizza buffet, and a salad bar at certain times. The salad bar is small but it still is a decent salad bar. Their pizza buffet has most of the most loved cardos pizzas such as BLT, chicken bacon ranch, cheese, pepperoni, and many more. Also the buffet has cheese sticks, cinnamin sticks, and ham and cheese subs. Although one night they had many varieties of Italian style subs. They have Pepsi products. You can order in restaurant or over the phone. Their menu is has much variety from pizza to very delishous cheeses loaded fries. On Fridays after school there can be a lot of middle schoolers in the restaurant from JMS middle school, but they mostly leave two hours after school. This restaurant is a very family friendly restaurant. It also has a party room in the back for large parties. Their newest edition to the restaurant is a dozen yogurt bar named chillville. It is very trendy looking and it has a large veriety of toppings. Also they have many delishous, creative flavors such as white cake batter, old rationed peanutbutter, and even cotton candy. If you are craving pizza you should definitely go to cardos pizza...
Read moreMy brother and I were heading back home from an out of state trip and decided to try this local place which we found on the internet. The place was huge, but empty when we arrived. The clerk was ok but uninspired to be waiting on us. We ordered two sweet teas and a pepperoni pizza which I liked very much because I prefer thin crust, which it definitely was. There were two kinds of pepperoni with a little kick which i also enjoyed. My brother was okay with it, but prefers thicker crust. All in all, I liked it and would eat there again to try something else if we pass through...
