Checkers — Restaurant in Jackson

My wife and I came yesterday 24th of August (SUNDAY) about 5 pm and ordered our food. When we got to the window to pay...this young lady looked like she was ""Mad at the world 🌎"" no greeting of any kind and acted SOOOO RUDE...when she brought the food to the window 😒 she spilled some of the drink on the top and side of the cup, I asked her to please wipe the side of the cup before I accepted it...THAT LIL LADY gave me a look of ""Death"" and barely wiped it off...didn't say a word the entire time at the window...BUT, looked like she was ready to jump through the window if I said anything to her!!! The fries were over cooked the burger had one pattie that was cold and one was fairly warm...sent my wife to the bathroom almost immediately!!! This is totally unacceptable because we're keeping this young lady in a job...BUT, it looks like she absolutely HATE HER JOB...Cannot treat customers with a hello and thank you??? I recommend you have a serious sit down talk with this young lady...I am 79 years old and to see the arrogance and attitude of this child is beyond belief...are they taught to at least say hello and thanks??? PLEASE ADDRESS THIS WITH THAT YOUNG ONE...I KNOW TODAY THIS IS ALMOST NORMAL BEHAVIOR OF YOUNG PEOPLE...BUT, YOU NEED TO TRY AND MAKE IT BETTER SERVICES FOR YOUR BUSINESS...""IF YOU CARE""!!! THANKS I WILL BE CHECKING ✔️ BACK AT THE RESTAURANT TO SEE IF THAT YOUNG LADY IS STILL THERE AT THE WINDOW WITH THAT SAME ""DISGUSTING...

Checker's remains by far the easiest and fastest drive-through experiences in Jackson . While the service can be a little rough around the edges, they have the most important quality that restaurants must possess if they hope to retain customer satisfaction and loyalty, and that quality is consistency.

Throughout even the most difficult circumstances (like the Pandemic,) they remained not only open, but stayed true to their posted hours. That fact alone was enough to earn my loyalty. It's called integrity, doing what you say you're going to do. Because of this fact, I never question whether or not they'll be open when it's late at night and I'm starving. Instead I can actually rely on them to be there when they say they are, a concept that most businesses either don't understand, or know little about.

The food is pretty darn good as well. Their fries are some of the best available. The menu is fairly limited, but they have certainly perfected what they serve. They always have a special when you're looking for something a little different. Presently, they have a fried mushroom burger which is delicious. And don't forget dessert. The ice-cream is awesome!

As one of the few restaurants that actually stay open past 9pm, they are undeniably the best choice for late night dining when you're looking for something quick and easy. Great job. Keep up...

I grew up with Checkers/Rally's, but live outside of their territory these days & always stop here when in Jackson. Honestly, the service is usually bad, that was nothing new.

The automated drive-through made it worse. I tried to add fries to my order & it got confused. When I got to the window, I told the young man working that I wanted to add a fry & he didn't say a word, just punched it into the touch screen & told me to pull up.

I get my food, which was two of their small burgers. I ate the first one & opened the second, there was a big chunk torn from the bun. There's no way the person making the burger didn't notice this, it was a hole the size of a dime on a little bun & it looked like a bite had been taken out of. I was tired, hungry and running late, so I wasn't in the mood to ask for another $2 burger. I threw that half of the bun out & looked at the lettuce on the patty, there was part of a core & it was black with mold. That was it. I split. Never eating at this Checkers again, or any fast food restaurant in Jackson as they ALL seem to have...
