Sizzler Cuisine Of India — Restaurant in Jackson

My family and I have traveled the world and the states, often looking for fantastic Indian food. And trust me, there is some GOOD Indian food out there! But at every place, we always say “Man, this is just not quite as good as Sizzler.” And it’s true. The chicken tikka masala and butter chicken (basic, I know) is SO GOOD. It is buttery, rich, creamy, seasoned, and the perfect balance between sweet from the tomatoes and salty from the spices. The chicken is amazing, I’ve never had a bad piece and it’s bright orange from being in the tandoori oven! You might say, “Lydia, this sounds like a 5 star review…” and to that I say “Well, hang on.” We NEVER go to eat inside because it’s in a sketchy strip mall and the atmosphere is terrible. Half the place is dark, like no one can sit over there, and the other half is dingy and drab, and they’re either blasting Bollywood or it’s dead quiet. The service is fine at best, sometimes it’s hard to understand them over the phone (which that’s my own problem, but I’m just letting you know lol). If you’ve got a fun group of friends to go eat with, it might be fine since yall are the decoration haha, but if it’s just you or your family, please just order take out. BUT ITS SO YUMMY! Trust me...

CANNOT BE TRUSTED! Be careful what you order from this Indian Restaurant. The Butter and Curry Chicken are more Soup. If you want flavored gravy Soup with a FEW tiny pieces of Chicken, then that's exactly what you'll get. The Drinks that are said to be 16 ounces. Oh No No No! It's not EVEN a completely full 10 ounces. When I called the restaurant the guy says it's 10 ounces in the 16 ounce cup. This is a 10 ounce drink that cost 5 DOLLARS. I was FOOLED THIS TIME but I won't again and hopefully NOBODY ELSE will either. THESE PEOPLE ARE TRICKY SO THEY MAKE LESS QUALITY AND SCIMP BIG TIME ON SIZE AND AMOUNT!!! This guy even goes to tries and convince me that was how it's supposed to be. Are you kidding me. A 10 ounce Lassi for 5 Dollars. I don't think so. On the Other Delivery site it shows the pictures of the food and drink and even different prices. Look at those nice chunks of chicken and the full glass. THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU RECEIVE! OH! The Naan! Haha They've gone cheating there also. Instead of 3 nice sizes of Naan, you receive 4 small four pieces that have been cut down in size. You can't make this up. CHECK THIS OUT!!! The REGULAR MENU prices are MUCH MUCH less!!...

Utensil Free I wish I had taken pictures.. Of the inside and of my food. No matter where I've gone the one small Indian shop or restaurant reflected some pride. Please ask a local pro to do your cameras. The wires everywhere makes me thing this place has been robbed multiple times.. that's just how we felt. The food was not how the menu is described. You can't lie on taxes, don't lie (catfish) your menu photos. I couldn't find the chicken in my Methi Chicken.. I shook it, the container of orange liquid. I opened it. Nothing! I took the utensil free brown bag of Jasmine rice and Orange liquid back into the store. I spoke to the employee at the counter and he took the Methi dish from me shook it, took it to the back I heard BEEP BEEP... .. . BEEP BEEP. They forgot the chicken on the side of the microwave,tossed it the already hot burn hot burn orange liquid put it in the microwave and came back "See here there's the chicken" while spooning in through. 🖕🏻😠😠🥱 I'm not stupid. I decided to smile and come here to talk about this....
