I had a truly delightful experience at Cultivate Coffee Project in Belhaven Town Center. From the moment I walked in, the space felt warm and inviting with plenty of seating, soft lighting, and thoughtful design that makes it perfect for catching up, relaxing, or working.

The coffee here is top-tier and locally roasted by Northshore and including unique pours like Nitro Coffee crafted with ingredients from Fertile Ground Beer. I appreciated how they balance traditional espresso drinks with innovative options that show real creativity.

What stands out most is the sense of community they’ve built. Whether you're stopping by for a quick pick-me-up or settling in for a longer stay, the staff's friendly, attentive service and the cozy atmosphere make you feel right at home.

I was really excited to try Cultivate Coffee, especially since it’s part of Northshore Roasting, and as a proud Louisiana native, I wanted to see a Louisiana-based brand thrive here in Jackson.

I ordered the iced strawberry latte with whole milk, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. The drink was pretty watered down, had very little ice, and the espresso tasted weak. I wouldn’t call myself a hardcore coffee snob, but I was dissappointed in the quality of the drink.

What’s surprising is that a friend of mine had the same drink at the Northshore Speciality Coffee location in The District Eastover, and she said it was amazing. So I know the potential is there!

Hopefully this is just a hiccup and not the norm. A little attention to quality control could go a long way in keeping the brand’s reputation strong across all locations. All that to say- I look forward to going back and...

Cultivate has been my go-to spot for a while now. They offer such a wide range of options, from a rotating list of pour overs to amazing lattes on tap and creative drink combinations, they always have something that everyone would love! The baristas are extremely knowledgeable as well!
