Hardee’s — Restaurant in Jackson

If I could give this place negative stars I would after this drive thru incident of not receiving our entire order with a very rude lady working on Oct. 30, 2021 telling us, "If the food isn't ready, we aren't getting it." when we paid for it already and had to go inside to get the rest of our order.

We went through the drive thru on Sat. Oct 30, 2021 in the morning. We ordered a couple bacon egg and cheese biscuits and a breakfast platter. While trying to order, the lady on the other end kept interrupting me saying, "Are you done with your order?"...no I'll let you know when I'm done. We didn't order that much and didn't order anything special that's different from a typical menu item. Not sure why she had such a snarky attitude. When we got up to the drive thru window, we were greeted with poor attitude by some guy. Like all places when we get our order, before we I drive off too far, we checked the bag to make sure nothing was missing from our order. We were missing the breakfast platter and all hashbrowns, so I had to pull around to the front of the building. First time at this Hardee's location with an issue so I thought no big deal. My wife went inside Hardee's to get it corrected. She spoke to a lady inside (not sure if she was a manager) and said, "We were just in the drive thru and we are missing a breakfast platter." The lady said, "Well, I'll see if it's ready or not. If it's not ready, you're not getting it." I don't care what's going on, you don't talk to paying customers like this and the workers are lucky the food was ready. This lady needs some serious training and the guy working the window needs an attitude adjustment. While my wife was in there, they were messing up every drive thru order and began asking customers, "What did you order again?" When my wife got back to the vehicle she began distributing food to everyone as I drove off and guess what, when we unwrapped the breakfast sandwiches, those were wrong too. We were supposed to get 2 bacon egg and cheese sandwiches but received some kind of omelet sandwich and a chicken sandwich. We were very disappointed in the attitude, the quality of service, and the ignorance of the lady my wife spoke to. I understand businesses get in a rush and things happen during a rush but the attitude and things said by the employees here were uncalled for and to get our entire order wrong, among others orders, is just poor management. Typically I don't write reviews but the service was pathetic and I just had to put this out there. I'll probably never go back to this...

Upon arrival, we had to wait for the manager to figure out what orders were going out and how many biscuits were available for orders. She told us she couldn't put more down due to being close to switching over to lunch.

A customer that went through drive-thru received a wrong order. The customer wasn't happy about receiving a bag full of biscuits after being told there were none! The manager grabbed the bag out of the customer's hand, even after he admitted to touching the food. The manager told the customer if he kept any of the food given to him in the wrong order, he would have to pay for it. Neither the customer nor the manager handled the situation well! Manager didn't try to diffuse the situation and continued to argue with the customer (my husband, FIL, and kids were in the store as well as a couple other patrons). Another employee even started arguing with the customer over comments made.

The loaded burrito was mediocre - eggs were definitely from the bottom of the pan, it was cool, and just blah. The sweet tea and hash browns...

I ordered lunch for a few friends and I having not been to a Hardee's in quite some time. If this experience is indicative of the average Hardee's experience then I'm afraid they should be closed. Ordered a hot ham and cheese for myself which was a clump of warm ham in stale buns with almost no cheese. My friend got a burger meal they said was just ok. They said the curly fries were good tho so I guess tossing some frozen potato chunks in oil isn't too difficult. We also got a 3 piece chicken tender for the group and were severely disappointed at the size. These were barely chicken nuggets let alone tenders. And at 5 dollars for the item it is NOT worth the price at all. To top it all off when we paid in the drive through they asked for a tip. Idk when tipping culture got this bad but I refuse to pay a tip for driving my car to a business and buying food without any other service. I can't recommend eating...
