Today, I had the worst service this morning, in the drive thru, for breakfast. They normally get you in and out, even when they're full of cars. Not my luck. I came to the drive thru, they took my order ( the flow would've had me on time for work).....also, they had to have the first cashier window to be fixed because another customer got angry and bust in the glass.....but the lady was still taking orders, got my card, and proceeded me to the next window to get my order ( not that lady did a good job, always kinda and nice to everyone), but heres where the problem got me. So I pull up to the 2nd window and the girl just, kinda, swings or throws the bag in my truck window. The order didnt look right, quickly checked what wad in the bag and noticed there were it's missing. I let the girl know," I apologize but this doesnt look like all of my order". She look puzzled, looks are the ordering screen ( I didn't know I was missing an extra sausage Muffin with egg and three hash brown), so then she asked to see my receipt. I give her the receipt, and she shows it to the lady next to her, and then tells me to pull down towards the curb and someone will bring out my order. ( this was 8:06am, but I have to be at work by 8:15am, so theres a possibility that it could've been done , because they're usually fast with the curb side). I pull up on the curb side and I wait from 8:07am - 8:11am......( mind you they were ppl behind who were getting there orders, per se, and moving on to their next destination. (Also there was one lady who had to pull up on curb side behind me and another person who had to pull up at one of the outer parking lot to get there orders as well). Around 8:09-8:10am, one person from the MsDonalds crew comes out, with a big breakfast bag and one brown bag, that kinda did look like my order. The lady waiting in her car behind reserved her big breakfast meal.( keep in mind, the ordered after me), and the other person, ( I was sure if they were still in the parking lot, but the curb side McDonald's person walked over or to that direction, BUT the curb side crew person did let me know that my small order was coming l, BUT still waiting for fresh hash browns to finish cooking.......clearly that wasn't the cash. What actually happened: when my order was not done right, whoever leading the breakfast shift thought, since my order was small and insignificant, that they should continue making everyones order and get the other ppl waiting, since their orders where of a bigger like size, that they should be taken care of first. I had to be at work by 8:15am, so at 8:11am I left and decided to NOT spend anymore of my money at THAT McDonald location. My order was only $14.68 or so, but it isnt worth all of the constant mishaps that happen at that location ( true now, don't close it down), some ppl at that more crew need a different work shift ( like I said, the lady cashier working the the broken glass window ALWAYS is kind and did an excellent job, BUT the others at the second window need more customer training). They way I feel today......NEVER AGAIN will I try to stop for food service at that location. Such a bad experience for me. People Remember: this McD is right at the edge of a medical district. A lot of ppl stop by, not just for food sake.....many ppl stop by for nutritional like health reasons, like get some food to take their medicine or grab food because I have taken some medicine, before going into work. It's not a bad place but that morning, it was a bad experience that I'll have...
Read moreI’m disappointed with the service my husband and I experienced at this McDonald’s location. As a foreigner, I understand my accent can sometimes make communication a bit tricky, but I was shocked by the impatience and lack of courtesy from the staff during our recent visit.
When we tried to place our order at the drive-thru speaker, the employee sounded frustrated right away. After just one attempt, they had us pull forward, which I hoped would make it easier to clarify our order in person. Unfortunately, the employee taking our order seemed rushed and didn’t double-check details like my specific request for a frappe instead of just “a coffee,” or the sauces we wanted with our nuggets.
It wasn’t until we got to the pick-up window that I realized our order had been misunderstood, so I tried to explain. The staff seemed visibly confused and discussed it among themselves before asking us to pull forward to wait. After several more minutes, I told my husband that ill ask inside to check on our order, only for the staff to immediately dismiss me, saying I shouldn’t have come in and needed to return to the car.
When they finally brought out the corrected order, the staff member’s tone felt blaming, as if it was our fault for the confusion. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable accepting the order, fearing it may not have been handled with care due to the attitude we encountered. We left without it, feeling disrespected and disappointed.
It’s upsetting to leave a trusted place with such a negative experience. I hope the management at this location will take steps to ensure that all customers—especially those of us who may face language barriers—are treated with patience and respect. If you guys don’t like your...
Read moreWhat I like most about this particular location, that's on Fortification Street in Jackson, Mississippi, is that it's ideally situated for pedestrians because I don't drive. I always walk because of my vision. So it's great that I could walk in from any corner and come in and come out. There could sometimes be a wait for your food, and that's only because it's a busy location, and you know, you can only staff what you can staff (habing the McDonalds app helps). That said, I've never had an issue with food quality. Five stars there for the service; even though sometimes the people are young, they still try their best to accommodate. The atmosphere is great. It's always nice and chilly. Thank you, and the views within, being situated on a corner, you can see traffic coming and going. It's good to have sunshine, natural light, all of that. And you know, with the exception of there sometimes being a population of unhoused or, temporarily displaced people right at that location, it can be mildly annoying if that kind of thing bothers you, but other than that, tens...
