Carter's did good work resizing my ring but the customer service was so bad I'm uncomfortable going back. I went in to get my engagement ring sized down. The lady who helped me was nice but continued to insist that I needed a 6.5. I kept saying I think that's still a little loose maybe I need a 6 and she kept insisting that a 6 would be too small. I went with the 6.5 even though I thought it might be too big. But I'd gone in and literally said "I don't know what size I need, I need help getting this sized correctly". I'm not an expert so I trusted them to do it right. I get the ring back and it's still to big. I waited a couple of weeks thinking I should give it time before making a judgement call but it was still spinning around my finger and generally to big. So I went back and they wanted to charge me full price to resize it again. I asked for help getting it sized correctly the first time and they pushed me into the wrong size even though I said it was too big. She even said, if it's still too big come back and we'll fix that. That does not, in my mind, mean we'll charge you twice to fix it. When I argued this they offered half the price. I agreed and went in to get it sized again and I couldn't believe how rude the woman I spoke to was. She continually blamed me for picking the wrong size and tried to justify charging me again saying it was my fault it was the wrong size. I had planned to get it resized correctly and get my wedding band welded to it here but I'm too uncomfortable to go back. I'll give 1 star for the workmanship but this place obviously doesn't care about customer service and just wants to squeeze as much money out of you...

I will never go here again, and I recommend you don't either. I've had two bad experiences here in the last 6 months both with the same watch. The first involved simply having them install a new band on the watch. It is a Reactor watch and has somewhat of a unique band pin. I thought it would be difficult to change the bands so I took it by there for them to do it. They looked at it and said it would take a specialists and there was only one person in Jackson that might be able to do it. That seemed odd so I went home and got on Youtube. Actually, it was quite easy. All I needed was a very small allen wrench and 5 minutes later, the new band was on. More recently, I took the same watch there to get the battery replaced. They took it to the back and came out a few minutes later and said something was wrong with the watch, it wasn't the battery. So, I took it back to the jeweler in Meridan, MS where I bought it. He opened it up and immediately noticed that Carter's had broken a little brass rod when removing the old battery. He stated that they had probably used a pick to pry out the battery and had broken the brass rod in the process. For this type of watch, they should have known to simply turn the watch on its side and slide the battery out. I was not planning to go in. But I did as my GOD MY Lord requested, he is not yakls. I was looking for a band to wear on my hand. There were many beautiful items. The first I looked at was a copper gold and hen a white gold. The lady MS. Tina was super sweet. She told me I should do something for myself. I appreciated her advice. I ended up purchasing 2 bands. When I was leaving an older gentleman thanked me, which he seemed familiar and I thought he said he was Jay Carter. I didn't understand as I am not anyone nor know anyone but thought it very nice to thank me for my purchase. I had stated 👂 that my dad, I miss him, made a point to shop for my Mother at this Carter's. What he gave her I know not. He sadly died in July 19, of twenty thirteen. I still cry at the event or thought. But he told me my real Father is my Father who is in heaven. Anyway, I was nervous about spending money on things I don't need nor know what the point was for the bands. I do recommend people shopping here. I recommend going into the store. If not go...
