I arrive at 12:40 to pick up 2 Uber orders and the lobby is closed and says to use drive thru. I go through the drive thru and nobody answers. I pull up to the window and have to get someone’s attention and the employee says, “We’re closed.” I responded, “I have 2 Uber orders.” She said, “We’ll be open at 1” So I have to cancel the orders and go on with other deliveries. I got another Uber eats order around 2:00pm for there so I go sit in the long drive thru line for over 10 minutes and get to the speaker to ask for the order. The employee tells me “We’re not doing Uber orders today.” I said “I don’t understand. I’ve come here for 3 different Uber orders today so if you’re not doing them can you turn off your Uber app?” She asked, “Would you like to talk to a manager?” I said “Not really, just turn off Uber orders if you’re not doing them” and she cut me off and said “Have a great day.”
If you are going to change your hours, please have them posted. If you are not going to accept Uber orders, please turn off the app. It is infuriating that a business would allow customers to place a delivery order and PAY for it and have an Uber driver waste their time and gas if these orders are not being fulfilled.
