Although I always have great food and service at Chick Fil A, today was different. I came through on my way to work, and attempted to order a salad to take to work. Something I've done regularly at other locations. The sweet girl taking my order said they wouldn't be ready until 10. OK no big deal. A gentleman handed me my order. I asked if he was a manager and he said he was one of them. I said I wanted to make a suggestion. If they had salads ready in the morning, those going to work would buy them on their way in. He politely said he had them ready and asked which I would like. He walked away to get my lunch, and I took out my cash to pay. He wouldn't except it. I said well it's a tip then. He said they didn't except tips and wouldn't allow me to pay.
This is beyond exceptional service. One he didn't have to get me a salad. Two he could have made me pay (which I intended on). Chick Fil A is the best example of...
