I refuse to step foot back in this establishment and haven't after how i was treated over a year ago. I frequently eat at the other local food places in the area and would gladly continue to support them solely based on their customer service .
I came in one afternoon close to the beginning of their lunch hour albeit probably one of their busier parts of the day like most other food establishments. I was planning on having lunch and wanted to see if a manager was available to discuss working with a local charity at that time to raise money for a run. While waiting in line I asked one of the workers if they had a manager on staff that I could chat with while waiting. They quickly went to the back and came over saying they would be with me shortly. The manager hastily came out and greeted me warmly. I explained that I was there to have lunch and I simply wanted to see if we could raise support for the event by placing a poster or some fliers in their establishment in exchange for passing out their menus or any other free marketing they would like. The manager's whole demeanor changed, he suddenly became very rude, impatient and harsh like I was a sudden pest. I realize many establishments and franchises may not be able to do this because of their company's protocols and rules. That is fine, I've been turned down as many times as people have said yes and that's typically par for the course. My goal was 2 sided, try a new place for a tasty lunch and try to do my job by raising support with local businesses which several agreed to do in the area.
It's how I was turned down that made me never want to give this place a second thought. He said he didn't have time to discuss something like this right now and did I have anything more important to ask him. I told him I was planning on having lunch so I could wait for a while if he thought he would be free within an hour, I realized it was their lunch time. I am very passionate about my work and at that time raising support for a great cause by hanging a poster or passing out some fliers was worth the wait if he had the time. He harshly replied with a no he wouldn't be free for the rest of the day. So I asked if maybe they had someone else that maybe I could talk with or email later that day. At this point he became very rude and said you need to order something or leave, we're to busy to deal with someone like you..."like you" just resonated in my head when he spoke those words. What does that even mean? I'm like every other paying customer or hard working individual that is passionate about what they do. Who knows what "like you" meant to him but it was enough for me to say thank you very much for your time and so sorry for bothering him at all. I left without buying a lunch from them and since have never had an inclination to step foot back inside even though I drive by there probably once a week or more.
Now I know establishments will have loyal patrons and they on average spend hundreds of dollars a year or more on their favorite food places. They then tell their friends, families, and coworkers about it and they too spend hundreds of dollars if they like it.
Being a food establishment your product is extremely important but so is the service you are providing which comes from your staff and management. If one is exceptionally wrong or off the other cannot make up for it. Please take heed to how you treat your customers in the future. Hopefully others won't have to experience such horrible...
Read moreUpdate: Thank you to the management team for not only their prompt response to my feedback but for offering to make this right for me. It truly shows how much they value each of us as an individual customer. I’ve edited my review to reflect 5 stars for the stellar way they’ve handled this situation. They will continue to have a repeat customer in me!
Utterly disappointed about the amount of time it took to get my order completed. I was on a time crunch during lunch today and need to get in, out, and back at work within 30 min. This is usually completely doable in normal circumstances. I placed an online order and arrived slightly after the estimated pick up time they gave me online. I checked in with Terrie at the counter and see checks my order status. They're waiting on the chicken to finish cooking. Ok, no problem. Several minutes pass. I begin to get anxious because more than 7 other people who asked and placed an order after I got there were all getting their orders before me. Finally after waiting over 20 mins, they give me my order. Someone in the kitchen must have screwed my order up. I really have no other idea how it could have taken over 20 min for a simple mini bowl order that should have only...
Read moreDelicious, fast, and fresh. I like that there are vegetarian options, such as tofu, for people who don’t necessarily want to eat meat. I love how healthy this place is; I don’t feel bad about finishing my whole entire bowl! Haha. The veggies (broccoli and carrots and cabbage) they put in it, you can tell it’s very FRESH. I like that you can choose between white or brown rice. Also, I appreciate that they have hot sauce and “secret sauce” (which tastes like a combination of soy sauce mixed with teriyaki sauce- yum), because I love to add extra flavor. The only reason why I deducted one star, is because every time I come here, its always super super super crowded up front where you order, and also they’re always running out of tables. Which I suppose is a good thing, hence the Business and poppin’ food, however, it just kinda sucks when you’re awkwardly bumping shoulders with everyone when you’re either standing there waiting for a table, or waiting to place your order, or trying to maneuver your way through to get a refill. Oh well, the more the...
