I’ve been here twice before this as well and both times it was just okay. This was my third experience going there and honestly it’s just eh . I love to try out new sushi places and I was definitely excited to try this one since it’s just 5 mins from my job . The staff is definitely a plus . They are very friendly and know how to make conversation. However the food to me is just mediocre. I ordered a krab salad and shrimp tempura for a quick lunch break . I called and ordered over the phone and I even got there before it was done. My rolls fell apart as I picked them up and they didn’t taste super fresh. My krab salad was very watery and the cucumber didn’t taste fresh in that either . They also weren’t busy which is why it was kind of upsetting that it was so mediocre as well. I’m sure they have their shining moments but my three experiences with them were just okay.

They sweetly visit and adjust to cliental. I appreciate their knowledge and they share to carefully choose who you respect. Some people slightly accidentally visit. I like their lunch special of the chicken bento box with request of teriyaki on the chicken and fried rice as the option. The chef well cooks and seasons the broccoli. They make good yum yum sauce as a light touch and provide soy sauce. I wish they had more help. Their cooked rolls of either the tropical storm or California with either choice of salmon or scallops and spicy sauce on top are good for a different meal. I enjoy their lightly sweet side ginger salad with my sushi choice. They make well the lightly fried breaded ice cream for fun special occasion. The chicken or steak fried rice is a good take home. I get a side of yum yum sauce. 🔪 🇯🇵 🐥 🍣 🍱 🥕 🍄‍🟫 🥦 🥗 🥭 🍚 🥢 🍫 🍨

I stopped by Yashi Sushi for lunch today and had a pretty good experience. The restaurant is reasonably priced and has a nice, quiet atmosphere, perfect for a mid-day break. This time I decided to try something a little different and went with a Spicy Fantastic Tuna Roll, which is a deep fried roll. While it was tasty and the quality seemed great, I think I still prefer my usual go-to, the standard spicy tuna roll. Something about a hot roll just feels a bit off to me, but the flavor was definitely solid. I also tried the vegetable spring rolls, and those were excellent, crispy and flavorful. Service was good and efficient. I’ll definitely be visiting again, and next time I’ll stick with my tried-and-true spicy tuna roll.

We finally tried this place after years of people saying the sushi is pretty good, and we were not disappointed! We placed a to-go order that included Krab Rangoon, Veggie Tempura, Crazy Roll, Chef's Roll, Fantastic Spicy Tuna Roll, Superman Roll, Chicken Teriyaki Marki Roll, and Miyazaki Roll. All of the items are in the attached photos (minus the krab rangoons and most of the veggie tempura since it was already eaten).

The Miyazaki Roll was probably my favorite. It's deep fried and includes smoked salmon, krab, cream cheese, and eel sauce. My second favorite was the Chef's Roll. It includes shrimp katsu, avocado, and cream cheese wrapped in cucumber with a homemade sauce.

We usually frequent some of the all you can eat sushi spots around town, but the quality of the sushi here was so much better in my opinion and worth the extra cost. I normally find myself drowning everything in shrimp sauce at the AYCE places, but this sushi was so good that I barely used any.

We will be back, and we will probably try dining in next time!

Update: We dined in, and it was still really good! Added a photo of our food, minus the apps, for the in...

I came here with my wife and son, along with my mom and brother. We decided to try it out based on the other reviews here. The first problem we encountered was that the parking lot was not at the front entrance where the hostess was. The entrance from the parking lot required you to come in through a side door and squeeze your way through the cramped restaurant, which was quite difficult carrying a baby in a carrier. The second problem was when we made it to the counter with the hostess, we told her that we had 4 people and we needed space to put my son's carrier next to us. Her response was " I don't have any tables available so...". I don't typically like to tell people how to do their jobs, but I felt the need to inform her that usually a hostess would give an expected wait time in a scenario like this. Finally we sat at the tables outside to wait for a table inside to become available. Once they told us a table inside was available, no one led us to the table, they simply came outside and told us there was a table then ran away back to the kitchen. We all quickly left and found another place...

Changing my rating, 6 years ago I left this place 5 stars. I dunno what's happened, but today I got an order picked up bc I'm epileptic and can't drive and when it arrived the salmon skin roll was burnt black and tasted like charcoal, stuff was missing from the special rolls I got and instead of an apology I was met with some guy telling me I was wrong about what comes on/in the roll and the salmon skin is fried that way and they don't put masago on their rolls, etc even though I'm looking right at their menu. After telling him I'm lookin at the menu he proceeds to tell me they don't put eggs on top anymore because people don't like them. Eventually he said come back and I'll make another one, but by this point it's just ridiculous. Over the years I've spent 100s at their restaurant. Not anymore. Truly disappointed. Maybe Grace and Frank aren't there anymore, it was good when they were. Needless to say money wasted and half thrown in the trash due to it...
