Hardee’s — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Can't believe that Ms. Wanda and the crew she had here aren't there any more. The service was great, but now the one they have "running" the place acts like she doesn't care or knows how to handle customers properly. And not to mention that it seems like everyone she knows or is related to work with her. I thought that was against the company policy? Never would let someone else be hired on cause they lived with a manager that worked there and they weren't even related. But this? I get you need people in fast food, but if you enforce the rules for one, shouldn't you do that for all? To the food: terrible. Either it's overcooked or something is forgotten. Mention or complain to them about it and you get ignored. It shouldn't take 15 minutes to get a soft drink through drive thru as the lobby isn't open when we went and it wasn't what was ordered (coke no ice. Got diet coke with more ice). Tried to say that it wasn't right but got the window slammed in our face. Had family members go here at 9:15 to 9:30 at night and they're closed already. This location is supposed to close at 10 pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends. Won't be back to this location at all. ** WILL be going to Burger King on monument road. Overall, food is good for fast food. I personally love their burgers and fries. Generally food is fresh, especially when you have a longer wait. If there isn't a line or mass about of food your food is generally good. Rarely have I gotten old or bad food from this place. I don't eat here daily but have eaten here about once a month for a few years. The parking lot is normally clean and easy to navigate around. The seating area is normally clean and organized. Of course the exception would be during rush peak times of the day, for some reason many people just leave there mess for others to clean. But the staff does a decent job at cleaning up especially once all customers have been served their food. The bathrooms are normally clean and suffer the same problems the dining area does fitting peak times of day. The drive through while sometimes the line is long it moves nice and quick. It is quite surprising compared to other fast food restraints. The staff are generally very friendly and very helpful. They great you with a smile and friendly tone of voice. Just ordered a number 17 All-Star Meal. Comes with a triple cheeseburger, a spicy chicken sandwich, fries, and a cookie. The chicken patty looks like it had been sitting there for hours. The fries were extremely cold. We only had one car in front of us and they were gone within minutes. We got asked to pull forward away from the window when we were the only car there. Then sat there for about ten minutes. It obviously wasn't so they could make fresh food... This also isn't the first time the food has been horrible. Definitely won't be going back.. and I urge everyone else to avoid this location at all costs. It's not worth your time OR money..

(Update: I just tried eating the triple cheeseburger. Also extremely cold.. A 5 minute drive home doesn't cool food off THAT quickly.. The patties weren't even hot enough to warm up the cheese, which was cold enough to have come directly from a fridge..)

No wonder this place is never busy. I'm honestly surprised they haven't been shut...
