Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I just left this location with a Turkey Tom I grabbed from the drive-thru for lunch. The sandwich is okay, nothing special...very little turkey, nice looking tomatoes, and an abundance of shredded lettuce on a big chunk of bread. There is less turkey than there is anything. The cashier asked if I would like some Kickin Ranch to go on the side, he said it went well with the turkey. I didnt know it was going to be an extra 49 cents. Now I'm at $6.51 for a basic turkey sandwich and some sauce it apparently needs because it would be too bland otherwise? I looped back around and went through the drive-thru again in order to ask for more than the one napkin they initially provided. Also, I hadn't gotten a receipt, so I asked for it, and they gladly provided a reprint.

I've never known Jimmy John's to offer a value, nor anything outstanding, for the price. Just the consistent skimping on napkins and upcharge hustle they maintain, I likely won't return soon. But i will be back...sometimes I end up at places like these because I look around and say, "It's got to be better than going across the street...

We ordered from the drive through just before noon today, 12/10/23. While waiting, the guy at the window was having issues with the register. A woman on the food line, wearing gloves, walked over to him and showed him what to do by touching the buttons. Then she proceeded back to the line to grab the lettuce for our sandwiches. The cashier was still having trouble, so she did it again. She was also intermittently touching her headphones. I told the guy that we were leaving because she was touching stuff and the food. Side note: We stopped going there a year ago because the cashier was touching the register with gloves, then going over to help wrap the food. We decided to come back a couple months ago and was happy that girl was no longer working there. We were excited because we like the sandwiches. However, we will have to...

This has got to be the worst JJ I’ve ordered from. I usually order from the location on Park St because I work downtown, but when I work from home, I have to use this location. I always get a Turkey Tom and the difference in size between the two locations is ridiculous. It’s half the size!! Not to mention when you customize the sandwich, it does no good. No extra anything. Minimal tomato, lettuce is barely present and two pieces of onion. Oh and the bread is stale. Horrible, horrible result. And this happens every time I order from here. I don’t order from her often but each time I think it has to be better since there’s such a huge difference. Bottom line, this location sucks! Too bad there’s not another location close to my home.
