Mc B's Lounge — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Our second visit, because first time was great. Sadly it was not the case this time. We stopped in on the way back from our 35th anniversary celebration. My turn came up, I wanted to sing for my lady, dedicated it, but when song started there was barely any volume. I tried multiple times over the microphone, and waving my arms in a futile attempt to get the KJ's attention, I attempted to sing a few times but again asking over microphone for volume, everyone seemed to hear me but the KJ and whomever he was having such an intense conversation with.

The KJ should pay attention when a singer comes up at least until they start, as song ended he realized it , and did apologize, but no offer to redo.

We stayed and sat through another whole rotation, we were up next and had chosen our most requested duet. He announced that the person singing would be closing off the night.

I went up and told him it was our 35th anniversary, and asked if he could please go one more song. He responded, No, sorry. We were disappointed especially since he had screwed up my last turn.

We will think long and hard about coming back. If we don't we just wanted you to know...

Awesome little dive. Smoking inside. Great prices. I have nothing but good things to say about the bar, the patrons, and the atmosphere...Caitlyn was a WONDERFUL bar tender, and a very sweet person. But I will NEVER RETURN Mc B's as long as Gabby is employed there. I was floored. I have never seen bar staff treat patrons so poorly. I only had one interaction with her, which was not pleasant, but not so unpleasant as to write a review about it. It was how poorly she treated her paying customers, that motivated me to write this. To shine an even worse light on the establishment, she also treated her fellow staff extremely poorly, in front of the bar's patrons. Once I found out that tips are split, I almost did not leave a tip, just to deprive Gabby of my hard earned money. I tipped my personal minimum of 23%. Women please be advised this bar is unsafe. I was a regular at this bar. I will never step foot in this place again.

Last Saturday night, there was clearly a sexual trafficking ring going on. I was with a group of 7 friends, and we were all extremely nervous running to our cars and watching each others backs.

There was at least four people involved in this ring, including one woman who accosted me (blatantly grabbed my rear end as she walked behind me, TWICE). This same woman was taking men into the women's bathroom for "services". I told the bartenders that she grabbed me without my consent, and that men were going in the womens bathroom, and they did absolutely nothing about it.

We had to cut our night short. As we rushed to our cars, all four of the people we were sure were involved were waiting in the lot by different cars.
