I recently had the misfortune of dining at this Popeyes. To say that my experience was disappointing would be a gross understatement. I have never encountered a fast-food establishment so poorly managed, understaffed, and unapologetically terrible in every aspect. I felt compelled to share my horrendous experience to save others from wasting their time and money at this particular Popeyes branch.
First and foremost, the restaurant was severely understaffed. There were long lines of customers waiting to be served, but only a few employees visibly present. The few staff members that were there seemed overwhelmed, disorganized, and disinterested in providing even basic customer service. Waiting times were excruciatingly long, with no indication that the situation would improve anytime soon.
Upon finally receiving my order, I was appalled by the state of the restaurant's cleanliness. Tables were dirty, floors were sticky, and the overall ambiance was more reminiscent of a neglected dive bar than a reputable fast-food chain. The lack of cleanliness alone would have been enough to deter me from staying, but the worst was yet to come: the food.
The food I received was beyond subpar; it was downright inedible. The chicken pieces were overcooked and dry, as if they had been left under a heat lamp for hours. The fries were limp, soggy, and cold. The biscuits, which should have been a simple yet comforting side, were hard as rocks. It was evident that the food had been prepared with absolutely no regard for quality or customer satisfaction.
When I approached the staff to voice my concerns, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of willingness to address the issues at hand. There was no effort made to rectify the situation or even offer a simple apology. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for this Popeyes restaurant.
In summary, my experience at this Popeyes was nothing short of a nightmare. The combination of being understaffed, a filthy dining environment, excruciating wait times, and disgustingly horrible food made this visit a complete waste of time and money. I strongly urge anyone considering dining at this particular Popeyes branch to reconsider and choose a different location, or preferably, a different restaurant altogether. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration; your taste buds and your sanity deserve better than what this establishment has to offer. I want to emphasize the lasting impact this horrendous experience at Popeyes had on me. As a customer, I believe in giving restaurants the benefit of the doubt, understanding that everyone can have a bad day. However, the issues I faced at this Popeyes went beyond a mere off day; it showcased a complete lack of professionalism, hygiene, and respect for customers.
The disappointment I felt was not just because of the low-quality food or the unclean environment. It was the overall atmosphere of apathy and neglect that truly shocked me. A successful restaurant thrives on a combination of good food, prompt service, and a welcoming atmosphere. This Popeyes, however, failed spectacularly in all these aspects.
When I choose to dine out, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy. I anticipate that the establishment will value my patronage and provide a basic level of service commensurate with the price I pay. Unfortunately, this Popeyes shattered those expectations. It left me not only dissatisfied with my meal but also deeply disillusioned with the entire brand.

Read moreOne person in the store that treated my wife very well. A new employee. The manager was out of control arguing with a customer over charged for french fries that he didn't order. The customer wanted his money back. About a dollar and a half. The argument wasn't about the refund. The manager wanted to berate the customer that he was not addressing the manager politely like the manager expected. In front of my wife the manager got the customer to apologize for his rudeness and tone. I heard the customer say, "I didn't order the the French fries and I want my money back." He was just stating a fact. Not hollering. This berating the customer until he apologized went on for 8 minutes. All production stopped, no orders taken, my wife waiting for our order, as the crowd of employees and customers were trapped in the managers VERY LOUD and manly pirate. Someone, an employee, stepped in to get the manager to move the discussion 4 feet from the counter. The customer had to endure 4 more minutes of ridicule but with the manager lowering his voice. This was a very unpleasant ordeal for everyone except the manager. The dinner was not as well done or flavored as well as another Popeyes in that area. They can't hear, they aren't friendly or welcoming, if you say 8 min for mild chicken and ask me to pull around I shouldn't have to wait 15 min and then get out to go inside to find out what the hold up is. Once inside you see the mild chicken bin is full but no one brought your food to you. I was informed about receiving a 2 pc box for a good review with the purchase of something else. When I inquired about it I was told that it was a survey on the back of a receipt in order to get it, AFTER purchasing my food full price I was then informed that in fact I should have gotten the 2 peal meal for free with the purchase of my other items. In turn I was to leave a good review. We'll here we are and let me be clear ... the free 2 pc meal is not the issue, the lack of quality customer service and attention...
