Tasty seafood chicken and subs — Restaurant in Jacksonville

READ!! Very disappointed. Rude employee. Poor customer service. Although YET ANOTHER fried fish, chicken, crabs or liquor store in a black neighborhood owned by/run by non-black Americans that treat people rudely.

I was attempting to patronize this new business today, however they don’t appear to be fully ready to provide the full menu items nor good customer service; “Tasty” didn’t have tea and no catfish; both are on the menu. I still ordered food items although not my first choice.

I paid with cash at the drive through window and I asked for my receipt because the total appear high. I needed to verify. To my surprise the male employee at the window said “I don’t give receipts for cash”. I asked why? He didn’t want to buy the receipt paper and he repeated his policy.

I immediately canceled my order. In a demandingly stern voice he wanted to know why I was canceling. I stated I don’t have to give a reason.

His tone was the usual rude tone that certain demographic who own businesses in black areas treat black people. Totally inappropriate. Going to Hipp Hopp they’re not perfect but...

Don't eat here. The food is ok, but the service is terrible. I come to this place on a regular basis to feed my family after work, and 50% of the time my order is wrong in some way or another. The older guy that runs the place usually has it up to par, but when he's not there, the younger guy that takes his place is a jerk. He doesn't have much respect for a customer who comes to spend their money at this place on a regular basis. I can order a bag full of food when the young man is there, only to get home and find it all wrong way to often. Then I'll take it back up there to him to fix, and he'll approach the situation in a immature manner. He's going to approach the wrong person with that...

I am a Chicken Gizzard hound. If they are on the menu, I will try them.

What is wrong with me? The doctors all tell us NO No No. And I stick my fingers in my ears and rock on.

If they would have had children livers, I would have been inclined to try them too.

$6.99 for a full pound is a great deal in this city. The main thing is the size and flavor. They were huge and tender as any gizzard could ever get.

They came fresh out of the fryer and they will apply any sauce you want or you can have it on the side.

I have ordered Chicken Gizzards all over the country and never had better than these today. The batter is incredible ❤️
