Hunan Wok — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Me and my family have been going here for more than a decade for our Chinese food dinner. The food is served hot and is still always as hot even when we live on the other side of town. I would recommend calling first to order, it does take a couple of minutes (15-20) for them to prepare your order. Since we are a family of 5 , our bills usually come out at about 40-50$. We usually order: Fried Rice, Large Lo mein, 4 chicken wings, and two orders of Orange Chicken. The food is always delicious and consistent, they are a very trusted establishment and our favorite Chinese place.^^ The staff are very kind and friendly while you are ordering, and they are never rude. I will say the orange chicken here is absolutely delicious and it may be my favorite item on the menu. As for the inside of the small restaurant, it may need some work but it's always been your standard Chinese takeout place. Would definitely recommend you checkout...

They tried charging my card an extra 6.53 after I ordered to pick up. I was paying at the restaurant and my total came up as 32.64, I had 35 in the bank (just enough). They said my card was declined. When I got home I checked my account and it says my card got declined for a total of 39.17. When I left the restaurant, the lady called me back and said "do you want me to try a lower amount?". Okay, first of all lady, what does that even mean? Does that mean you were trying to tip yourself without my permission? I had just enough in my account to get the dinner for my family, that's why I decided to pick up and not use delivery. I could have donated at least a few dollars that way but they took it upon themselves to try and charge my card an extra 6 dollars and 53 cents. Plain rude and disturbing. I will never order from them...

So I got my food delivered. They guy comes here and my brother signs the receipt. I tell my brother to put a tip it out a line through the tip line. They delivery guy acts like he doesn't want to give us the receipt back. We know what y'all do if we don't mark out the tip line. So he started smiling I'm like no give me that back. We're eating our food and it's disgusting. Taste like the wok was not clean (soap or metal taste). Then I called and they telling me I can't get a refund. No where in this menu does it say no refund or did they tell me that when I placed my order. She then proceeded to hang up on me and is not answering no calls and I called from different numbers. But hey that's her losing business. This is by far the worst experience I have recieved coming from out of town. DO...
