Decided to give this location another shot as the owner was kind enough to reply and ask me to do so. I showed up 10 minutes after they opened. The young lady at the front was friendly and helpful. The bam shrimp was hot and fresh. Those are the only nice things I can say.
One would expect walking in to a just opened restaurant, you'd be welcomed with fresh and appealing smells of sanitation chemicals and delicious food triggering the olfactory senses. Not here. Upon entry, I was hit with a wall of a musty sewage smell. I asked another customer if it was just me. He responded that he could smell it, too. Ended up getting my order to go because I didn't want to sit in a smelly restaurant
In addition, I had asked for a military discount. I was informed the store does offer a military discount, just not on appetizers. Huh? No big deal, but I thought it was worth mentioning. It was more of a, "Yes, we do, but you didn't order enough," answer.
There you have it... the second chance review. Owners, please crack the whip at this location. Something is seriously wrong. I don't know if it is management, a building/plumbing issue, or lack of wanting to invest more money into the facility to bring it up to an appealing standard.
Walked in store manager was rude right off the bat we got there 15 minutes before they closed went to order manger said they already shut off the grill could only get fried food only then after the register lady took are money she told the manager three times that it was for here when they called our number they had put all are food in a bag then forgot are green beans that we had ordered now keep in mind there were people inside already eating when we went to get more to drink we were told we couldn't that they were shutting down the drink machine now still after I left there were still people in the restaurant still eating two different couples that we're in there eating were there before we got there due to this action I would not recommend this place on beach Blvd to anyone rude service through out the hole ordeal we're I work people always come in and ask me where's a good place to eat I assure you I will make sure not to recommend the shrimp shack and tell them why also will be posted how my...

They did not make my order properly, was on hold for 7 minutes, then when I walked inside was told they had to check my food to confirm ..... their was no apologies, rather ordered to take the food that was already in my possession in the back and toss it in the sauce.... ummm that’s a major NO NO... especially with COVID!!!
The staff made me feel very unwelcome and bother them... btw ... the manager claimed the reason for the bad service was because it was busy however their was only 2 cars in the drive thru and 2 people in the lobby ...
The poor customer service and questionable food handling measure are troubling
