Subject: Disappointing Experience with Bean and Cheese Burrito at Taco Bell
Dear Taco Bell,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent experience at your establishment. On my last visit, I ordered a simple Bean and Cheese Burrito, a menu item that I’ve enjoyed in the past, but what I received was far below your usual standards.
First and foremost, the tortilla was an absolute disaster. It was old, tough, and chewy, making it nearly impossible to enjoy. I expect a fresh, soft tortilla that complements the filling, but instead, I felt like I was biting into cardboard. This is unacceptable, especially when a tortilla is such a fundamental part of any burrito.
To make matters worse, the beans were gritty and utterly flavorless. It was as if the beans had been sitting out for far too long and had lost whatever semblance of taste they once had. I’ve always appreciated the savory flavor and smooth texture of Taco Bell's refried beans, but this time, they were a sad, tasteless, and sandy mess.
Furthermore, I specifically requested extra cheese in my burrito, yet there was barely any cheese at all. The amount of cheese was so minimal that it might as well have been non-existent. If I’m paying extra for a request, I expect it to be fulfilled. The lack of cheese only added to the overall dry, unappetizing nature of the burrito.
Overall, this was a thoroughly disappointing experience. I usually enjoy Taco Bell, but this particular meal was well below what I’ve come to expect from your brand. Read more2/7/17 The place stinks like a sewer on the outside in the parking lot. Walked into that location tonight about 15 minutes ago( 8:40 PM) and the manager was on her cell phone while making food. What is the sense in wearing gloves if you're going to touch your nasty cell phone while making customers food? I immediately walked out. Could not call the store on their listed phone number either to make a complaint because a fax machine picks up. I would suggest corporate close that store down judging by not only the issues I had, but all the other issues I see here on the reviews as well.
Update: Finally got through and spoke with the manager at the store tonight who happened to be the same manager who was using her cell phone while making food. She explained that her boss was calling her and that she has to answer her phone on the food line if her boss calls. Read moreWe went through the drive thru here, but had to wait almost ten minutes at the order box because we were stuck between cars and got no answer through the speaker. The man was apologetic for technical problems, but when we got to the window, a different man was working the register and had to ask someone unseen about every action. He handled our money wearing gloves, and then handled the food with the same gloves. They forgot our soda, so I had to go back and go inside. There were only 2 customers, and two workers, with a third visible, sitting in a back room. Again, the first man was very apologetic, but he too was handling food and money without changing gloves. Our food was fine though smashed (as we didn't get sick from the food safety issues we witnessed), but nothing was wrapped correctly and we had to guess which item was which, as they all were wrapped to say burrito supreme.
