Tunis Seafood Burgers Gyro Wings & Subs — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Ordered online for pickup. Second time coming here and it was very disappointing. There was no sauce on the 3 gyro sandwiches, and no sauces on the side which we paid extra for. Gyro meat was very dry and burnt on all three sandwiches. My grandson's chicken sandwich was dry and overcooked. My daughter had to drive back there just to get those sauces, and then come home to find out that the sauce was rather runny with just big pieces of cucumber in it, was actually not good at all, and sandwiches themselves sucked as well. The only thing that was okay were the cheese fries. I paid $50 for this meal and I'm debating on calling my credit card company and stopping the payment it was so bad. I wish we had noticed how bad the sandwiches actually were when we found out there was no sauce on them, we just wrapped them back up and waited for her to come back home, which was only a 10 to 15...

I've been to this place twice now. First time I was there it was very good. Second time I was there was horrible. We bought three gyro sandwiches and one chicken sandwich and 3 cheese fries. Pick up the order come home to realize that there's no sauce on the gyro sandwiches and no extra sauce on the side as requested. So had to drive all the way back there to get the sauce, which by the way was runny with big chunks of cucumber in it, it was awful. Get home to put the sauce on the gyro sandwiches only to find out the meat is hard and dry and very chewy. Wish we would have noticed that in the beginning because we would have brought the sandwiches back. When we did pick up the sauce that was missing, no one even apologized or seemed to really care. Had Tunis off of Rogero Rd the other night and Junior assisted me. He was very helpful, full of energy, patient, super nice, and knows his products! He let me try 2 drink flavors (the Up-Town & the mango pineapple drink), both were really tasty, but the Uptown sold me. It was a blend of pineapple, strawberry, and 2 other flavors mixed which reminds me of a fruit punch w/ tea in it. The food was on point, hot, & cooked to order so it's fresh. They have varieties of desserts, but only banana pudding was available at the time ai went. The desserts are made by another company, but I wasn't find of the banana pudding. It had no bananas in it at all, and tasted like whipped banana pudding with heavy vanilla extract and some wafers thrown on top. It was too fluffy for my liking.
