On 12/15 we ordered the Bourbon Bacon Triple Cheeseburger combo & the single Pretzel Pub Cheeseburger combo with no honey mustard or pickle. We ended up getting a Dave's Triple Hamburger with no cheese or bacon and a Spicy Chicken Pretzel Pub sandwich with no bacon & it had the honey mustard & pickle on it. Both sandwiches were wrong! The dining room was already closed & at this point the drive thru line was wrapped around to the exit of the drive thru. We had already waited 30 mins for 6 cars ahead of us. I called the morning of 12/16 asking for a manager, the person on the line said she was the manager, I told her about the situation when she goes on to tell me since I didn't call that same night she couldn't replace the food. I told her there was absolutely no way anyone was going to answer a phone when there were only 3 workers with a line wrapped around the building and it taking so long to get food. She had the nerve to ask me if I still had the sandwiches. No, miss I sure don't that was 12 hrs ago & even if I did you're going to throw it in the trash so by all means my dog got to enjoy both sandwiches because they were wrong. She offers no further help, but assures me she can't do anything for me. I ask for upper management she tells me the GM will be in on 12/17 and her name is Tiffany, but couldn't tell me what time she'd be there so when I called she wasn't there. Read moreI ordered. As I drove up to pay I heard the woman in front of me yelling about a card and drove off. I pulled up, handed my card to them immediately and then was asked 3 times what my order was. I kept repeating it. I was given the wrong bag and the wrong drink anyway. As I got my NEW drink back I was told to have a good day and I pulled forward. As air dig through the bag i found that my food was STILL incorrect. When I went back inside they said I left my card. Then they said I didn't pay. I told them I was SURE I did. I handed them a card. Then they said my card didn't work and I drove off. I told them they must be talking about the woman in front of me because she was yelling about HER card. They then referenced my order which was NOT my order. Eventually we determined they gave me the wrong order but I HAD left my card. They handed me my card and I immediately handed them another card and paid. After my bill was fixed, I was dismizzed a SECOND time and ignored. My bill was fixed so apparently our transaction is done? I thought it best to leave after the way I was treated at the counter. Now I am sitting in my car thinking about how they were so adamant to fix the payment but despite them acknowledging their mistake they never fixed my order. Didn't even make an attempt. What just happened?
Take payment BEFORE you hand over food. Check the bag BEFORE you hand it to the customer. And if they tell you that you made a mistake at the very LEAST apologize. If it IS fixable,...
Read moreThis is probably one of the worst Wendy's in jacksonville. The manager also doesn't care an out your meal being incorrect either. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and double stack 2 dollar fries and a strawberry lemonade ( Extra strawberry sauce) as I got to the window I asked to add another Jr cheeseburger when I got to the window. They were about to give me a totally different order and kept asking me what my order was. They also handed me my drink and when I said I wanted extra sauce said they added it when clearly if you've ever had extra sauce you know when it's added or not. So after telling then what I ordered 4 times I asked them for the extra sauce and the manager proceeded to say oh well that's gonna be extra. I've never paid extra for it before and on top of that after sitting here waiting on you to get my order right you want to charge me for it not apologizing for getting my order wrong in the first place . If it did cost they should have just did it complementary. I just said forget the whole thing and the manager said oh ok that's fine. Clearly that wasn't handled like it should have been.
