Placed an online order to pick up food on my lunch break from work. Order had a total of 4 drinks, was only given 2. Did not receive 2 of the drinks, and did not see until after I got back to work for the end of my lunch. I called the store asking for either a refund or for someone to bring the drinks to me (since they do delivery). The girl who answered the phone was confused and had to get the manager. Instead of putting the manager on the phone, they played tag with relaying information. I told them I'm missing the 2 drinks and would just like a refund because I cannot leave work again until late tonight. Manager told the girl to tell me no because "she gave 2 drinks". I reiterated that I had the receipt in my hand and that I had paid for 4 drinks total, and the 2 I was missing were the Handcrafted drinks. I just wanted a refund for it. Manager yelled over the phone that she "only saw 2, what are you talking about?" I again told them that I had the receipt in my hand, as well as in my email, showing the 4 drinks. The girl then said "well you have to come in to the store for the refund. I finally said fine, and before I could say anything else the girl hung up the phone. The service here is horrendous. I also work in customer service and understand how customers can be, but I was not rude, demanding, demeaning, or done anything that could be conveyed as malice. I simply wanted a refund. I didn't have the best experience at this Zaxby's, I normally eat at the one in Orange Park. The food was good but the service sucked, not the register staff but the chef. I ordered 10 piece wings but accidentally told the girl who was taking my order bar-b-q and wanted to get teriyaki. When I realized what I did I ran to register to ask the girl who took my order to see if she could catch the chef before the wrong sauce got put on. She was unable to catch him in time cause there was a rush going on and I heard him say that they were already done. Since I heard him I told her don't waste the food and didn't want to back the kitchen up anymore than it was. So I asked if they could help me out and just wipe the sauce off and put the teriyaki sauce on since the food was still in the kitchen behind the window that they pass it through. I didn't hear exactly what the chef was complaining about but it wasn't like I was making a scene I just was like waiting for them to come out I tried to catch it in time and he was complaining to the girl but wouldn't say what he had to say loud enough for me to hear but he made sure that I heard him say that they were already done so he wouldn't have to fix the problem. So I asked the girl to just get me the sauce and something to shake them up in. She was able to do that but I got stuck wiping the wings off and tossing them around in a to go box.
